  1. I think it looks great. I also like the increased spec in the eye.
  2. Thanks Bjorn. I like your entry myself .
  3. I also remember that clip. Haha, he still makes me laugh.
  4. I still can't believe you deformed the head to look like that. That's insane. Please don't take this wrong, but I'm almost more imressed with that than your excellent animation .
  5. SHIFT + 1 is the Shortcut key.
  6. Haha, that was great. How the heck did you modify my farmhand model to look like that? The head looks totally different -- is it?
  7. Oh, yeah doing the body is kinda like that for me. I lathe the arms and legs (just tubes) and attach them to my torso (which is just an extruded tube). You just have to learn how to use 5-point patches and hooks coorectly -- and tweak. I still think the head is different. Here's a link to a almost-simple characters wireframe I made not too long ago: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?s=&am...st&p=183860 The body, legs, and arms all started as "tubes" that I tweaked, and added splinesto, to get the finished look.

    The Retro

Holy Crap! Great use of Composite!
  9. No. I just think they should be a little wider and a little smaller around -- I hope that makes sense. It looks great, just for personal preference to me . I don't see anyone else saying anything about it, so it might just be me, haha.
  10. Excellent news, Zach. Congratulations!
  11. I love the boots! I still don't like the cuffs on the sleeves though.
  12. It is possible to do it that way, but in my opinion it would be harder. A:M uses splines, which I like to consider more like creating a frame that you put plaster over. The way you want to do it is sculpting which works better with poly apps in my opinion. I could be wrong here though. I only no how to model in splines .
  13. I agree, superhero threads are ruling! I hope we get more. I might just have to think of another on to make just so we can have more . Nice start on your Super Girl so far.
  14. Hey Patrick. I noticed if you are using the Skin shader and AO together that the light shouldn't be too close to the camera's orientation or location. If it's off to the side more it gives a better look. I love the hem for the shorts. For some reason I think the cuff would look better if the went longer up the sleave more, but was visible than you have now. I don't really like the seam in the shoulders, but that might just be personal preference.
  15. Ah, HAHA! That was great, Nancy. That was just a quick come back. John will come back with something good, hehe.
  16. It does look like you might have a little more splines than you actually need, but it really looks good.
  17. It looks great to me. Everytime I see a mechanical model like this I wish my skills were better in mechanical . Great job so far.
  18. Looks like kiln baked pottery without a glaze. I love the look.
  19. I mean, who really wants to call a devil cute, but --it's cute .
  20. Did you -- lathe it! If you did I would have never thought of doing lathe with something this big. I am even more impressed if that's how you did it .
  21. Thanks alot, Oskar. I appreciate your comments.
  22. I think you might need a certain number of posts before that option is availabe. Although this might have changed by now.
