  1. BTW what is the name/handle of the streamer? Looks kinda like someone that is in the music space on YouTube.
  2. Cool model! Didn't see this until just now. 30 hours to render is quite some time, did you use a very high resolution? I wouldn't put too much stock in the negative comments, everyone is a critic it seems like.
  3. Nicely done, only thing I might add is to have him sniff the flower, like really inhale it. Good job!
  4. Yeah it seems like that would be something that would be present in the software, but I guess not? Was still interesting to see a pro at work, though.
  5. I attended as well, I thought his technique was interesting but results in a lot of extra work, especially if you aren't already a decent 2D artist or animator. Still, very interesting webinar.
  6. My mind immediately went here when I saw the topic: (It's an old newspaper comic called "Shoe" for those that may not be familiar) Silliness aside, that's a great start to a gym shoe model!
  7. I think Venture Brothers has a relevant clip for nearly everything, if you look hard enough: Also, congrats on 100k views! You are well on your way to monetization!
  8. In case anyone is interested, here is the grand prize winner. Looks to be AI generated.

    Happy Birthday, Rob!
  10. Do they have the entries posted anywhere? I'd be interested to have a look at them.
  11. Here are some really good tutorials on basic splining: Mark Largent also did a really good comic book style tutorial, I'll have to dig around and see if I can find it. @largento Mark, do you have a link to that comic book splining tutorial you did? I think I have a copy somewhere but it might take me a while to find it.
  12. Yeah after having another look at it I think you're correct, it's kind hard to tell from the photo where he's on the dais exactly how he's twisting his torso.
  13. It's a good start. @robcat2075 mentioned the tail, but I think the tail is correct, at least based on this movie still:
  14. I hope you do well, I had thought about entering but managed to talk myself out of it. I wasn't sure I had enough time to pull off anything I was going to be happy with.
  15. Cool animation! Did you enter the official Pink Floyd 50th Anniversary contest they were running or was this just for fun?
  16. Merry Christmas to you too, Gerald! Merry Christmas, everyone!
  17. Would you be able to PM me the old man model? I had an idea for something where I need an older character.
  18. Sorry to hear that. May you have much success with your LLC in the coming years.
  19. Very nice, shame we don't see more of this kind of thing.
  20. I think we would all appreciate a visit from the money truck. 😄
  21. Nice to see you getting recognition, Mark. Congratulations on your success!
