  1. While I don't have a problem with this in theory, wouldn't someone already have to have your password in order to sign in? I'm not sure how switching to the email address makes it any more secure, unless you're going to set up an option for 2FA.
  2. I'm still interested, just need to figure out how I'm going to work it into my current schedule. I should be free Sundays, but need to work out when I'm going to do the exercises.
  3. Oh wow that looks like that would be fun but I'm not sure I could pull off a 3 to 5 minute animation in that time frame, that would do the music justice. Practically every single track on that album is iconic.
  4. The lighting definitely looks better in the above photo, the ceiling looks less sterile and more realistic due to the less perfect surface. If not for the CG character I might think this was a photo in an architectural magazine and not a rendering.
  5. Looks a bit like one of the Mortal Kombat characters. Can't think of the name, but he had 4 arms. Nice animation, you get the sense he is really heaving something heavy.
  6. Wasn't there a model of a fish that had a cane and a big hat?
  7. I would like to maybe give it another try. What night were you thinking about for meeting?
  8. Maybe it's only mostly dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive.
  9. It's not exactly pining for the fjords....
  10. Very nice stuff! The U-boat captain coming up out of the tiny hatch is quite comical. I also like your walk cycles.
  11. Well at least we are starting the year off with some good news. I'm assuming under the filmed works where it says "now a lost film" that the copyright expired but there is no longer a copy of the film in existence?
  12. Happy New Year, Rob! Hopefully we will be seeing a lot less demons and gremlins in 2023
  13. You might want to consider shopping around, it sounds like your company is giving you the old screw-job.
  14. I'll see what I can do, I think I still have an old CD based copy that I can experiment with. Sorry for the delay, been a bit busy lately.
  15. I really don't see this shaking out in any way that is good for the average citizen, regardless of nation. Wages have not kept track with productivity. Productivity is through the roof, yet wages have been flat for the last 40 years or so. I would imagine at some point the powers that be will probably arrange for you to have some kind of pittance to live on so you don't have half or more of the population just homeless and starving, but it won't be any sort of Star Trek style post-scarcity abundance.
  16. Let me know if you'd like a brief tutorial, I've had XP running in a VM on both Linux and Win 10. Currently experimenting with getting AM going in a vm, I don't see any reason it wouldn't work so long as you can pass the CD drive through to the VM. You might be limited to software 3D though, I don't know how GPU passthrough works with virtualbox.
  17. If you need help setting up a virtual machine to run XP on a new windows system, I might be able to help with that. I have run Virtualbox vms with XP on both Windows and Linux systems. Currently in the process of testing an older version of AM running in a vm on Linux. Let me know if you're interested and I can post a brief tutorial.
  18. I don't remember that model, must not have downloaded the extras that year.
  19. Rob, that's pretty cool I'll have to experiment with doing a Floppy Thom.
  20. I don't believe I've heard of him before today, but it would seem he invented ASCII art.
  21. Happy Birthday, Rob. I hope you had a nice day. Thanks for all the work you do running the contests.
  22. Rob, nice image, like your composition. Happy New Year everyone, hopefully 2022 is going to be a better year.
  23. These are very good for low poly models. How did you get the devil lady and catlady so curvy? Also, why are some of the monsters blinking in and out in the videos? Are you doing a whole mod? Would be interested in seeing the full mod.
