  1. Going through Caroline's rigging tute and at some point in testing the rig and turning the TSM constraints off and on, under "Relationships>Bones" I've got about a dozen folder icons with various element names followed by this error message (e.g., "left Arm IK Error Loading String:5003") So far everything seems to be functioning but I'm not sure why these are being generated. Any ideas?
  2. Stick around, when you have problems bring them here.
  3. Hey brainmuffin, great link, thanks for posting! Hey, new guy, seriously, check out these tutorials instead of banging your head against the wall. Let us know when you've got it. It's simpler than you're making it out to be.
  4. Really terrific work. All I can say is, GROOooaaaaarrrrr!
  5. Yep, all your hard work really shows! Good job!
  6. Okay, he may be an herbivore but I'm steering clear of the tail AND the toesies thank you very much!
  7. Nice test, but that face does NOT look happy to see me! More like he's about to lunge!
  8. She needs sideburns to go with the goatee and 'stache!
  9. Yep, nice work and nice stylization on the clouds! When I read Robcat's comment I first saw the "10x" as "10%" and I thought, man he is one tough customer!
  10. Thanks for that link mark, I'd heard about Barry's tutes but never been to his storefront. Got it bookmarked now. And P head, stick around! This forum is the best way to learn all you need to know about AM!
  11. Congrats, Klaus, and welcome to the forums. Save yourself some headaches and always come here with your questions. the Mac version does have some *quirks* but AM is a great app and very rewarding to learn. Gerry
  12. When I go to page two of this thread I get an AS error: "Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2124: Loaded file is an unknown type." That's the page with the soulcage clip. Just FYI. I click Dismiss All and everything's fine.
  13. As Robcat asked, did you use/do you have QT Pro? That would do what you need to do, $29 still afaik, easy to figure out or ask here.
  14. For that short of a shot maybe the cloth is overkill. Why not design the shot and then decide if it's worth the trouble.
  15. He looks an awful lot like the first guy. Do you have sketches of the characters? Are they supposed to look alike?
  16. Congrats, new guy! One of the great features of this forum is being able to help newcomers with what often seem to be insurmountable tech problems. Stick around, you'll learn a ton.
  17. Yep, still liking it! Good work!
  18. Steve- I'm not sure I could offer much here but I think it would be easier to evaluate these if they were straight side views with the action looping a few times.
  19. Good point: What format are you trying to render to? A targa sequence may be the way to go. Also, how long a sequence is it? Can you post a still? Maybe the content will give some clues to a solution.
