  1. is it exterior only? are you going to do the inside as well?
  2. I had a co-worker that would speed on the road doing wheeling at 90mph. I gave him a stern lecture on safety equal love, because he just got engage to a lovely woman. 2 days later he was dead on the road wiping out on a corner, and he did not hit any vehicle. His Fiance made it to the accident scene in time to hear his last word. The ambulance crew knew that he be dead if they pick him up. I can't stress enough, "love equal safety" If someone loves you, then be safe so you can stick around for them. Anyway enjoy your bike and the freedom of the road, and saving gas.
  3. It's suppose to be cream of baby food. I should of seek some advice on that. But the fluid particle was pretty new at the time. But at least I got paid for it.
  4. The file size may be too much to handle. I would try rendering the field as a separate pass, the closer you are to the chair and subject increase grass count. Then maybe composite the subject and chair on top with high grass count around them only. does the grass need to be animated? If not consider using a one render pass for the grass as your background plate, and render animated grass just around the subject activity space. if you have a shot at one angle. you could do a single render, and then paste decal onto grass object at the angle of your plan shot, and then use the area immediate to the subject in chair with animated grass.
  5. can you apply dust as well? I think your sand is good, and you can randomize the sand by adjust flow in animate mode.
  6. the fluid particle I used for the babyspoon animation actually look more like sand. very small particle with 0 viscosity very long render tho! I would just make the partcle at the tip where the sand being dump and a separate layer for the dust so you can adjust transparency. http://www.gentlechifitness.com/images/fin...%20fullsize.mov
  7. I agree with Vern, and I don't do that often enough as he is kind of nutty! But I agree with the long legs are fine just the way they are. I love women with long legs. ahem.....okay.....just to say it is a fantastic model, ......and when can I play with her? I have made my Danger girl model with red hair, and she wants to meet Wonder Woman.
  8. I am looking to upgrade myself, and saw the Honda rebel as being very tempting. How much did you sell your scooter? I am tempted by the movie "Ironman" to paint my bike those same color scheme.
  9. That's interesting! I was always 'of the thought' that SSS needed a light behind the character to react to... I had a hard time getting SSS to work. This is what I did to get it to work. Get all the setting set and save choreography. close down AM: and reboot AM straight to importing your saved Choreography and render again.
  10. I have a project that need to use this feature, but I have not been able to see the shade preview of the clip in the cho window to be able to match the 2 clip together. If anyone are able to do that, please share with me your settings. ver15 dual core 2.9 Ghrtz 1.5 gig memory ATI 9800 pro video
  11. I don't have anything to say about the animation, but about the modeling. At first I thought that it was a animation of the model and the spoon and cup that was composited in to the kitchen. Then I am wondering if everything is model in that scene. I look at glass reflection and realize that the stove itself may be a 3D object. I don't know but is everything there a 3D mesh object? The flame coming out of the ship could variate with some flicker or slight sway to show that it is gas and not solid.
  12. when your done with that project, can you convert it to one of these? http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/06/17/...ain624297.shtml Apparently, there is more to the story as allegation of improper city council meeting with a intent to take over this guy property. Nonetheless, his bulldozer was pretty awesome and would have won hands down at those wrecking machine cable show. I know you did a car crash animation, plane crashing animation, and I am one step ahead of you and know what your thinking! You are oblige to show us your bulldozer car crushing animation!
  13. I had an old model that had diagonal line on the legs and rework it to be more straight. However, I did mange to get it working but end up adding another 2 bones each side to handle the diagonal spline. Many hours wasted, and learn to do it different. been there done that! I would rework it the way Mike suggest!
  14. Looks pretty good for a character! Are you looking for a realistic anatomical critique? or how well he would be animated? Because I could tell you better if you render out the wireframe, and take a look at that. Otherwise I think you have a nice looking character. The body is very good, and I wish I had that body for my animation. Anatomically tho the head needs to be bigger, roughly 1/8 of the body. There should be 8 head to fit a body length. The eyes should be halfway on the head. the bottom pert of the nose halfway between eye and chin, and the lip halfway between nose and chin. The ears are between eyes and lip! spot on! To solve it all I would give him more forehead space. Looks like 8 1/2 head height, classic comic book character build?
  15. The interface between brain and the walking contraption. Seem like maybe electrode sensor hanging from the canister inside the fluids to his brain would be a way for communication with the interface. or maybe connect his spinal column some how?
  16. http://www.gentlechifitness.com/images/render%20project0.jpg http://www.gentlechifitness.com/images/Ren...n.jpgderson.jpg I saw an ad for a illustration job and took the drawing and made it into a toon rendering and it took me about 6 hours to make this (minus the already made chair and Lambrina's sunglasses) I wonder how long it would of taken if it was hand drawn and the quality vs doing it with Hash. The prisma marker would have taken some time and the smell would of been nauseating. I used to do presentation for architecture and tho I love that part of creating the art work, it was the smell and messy hands that I could do without. I think making the rough out in 3D and then take it into a photo shop or print it out the toon line render and finish it off with a pencil in detail is also a possibility.
  17. That's about how I would fall back to my death. I'd be shaking and kicking all my might hanging on to the ledge.
  18. The setup machine works directly from model made in V15? or brought in from ver 12?
  19. If your going to attempt this, then what you would be looking for is minimal mesh and in quads form. I have not been very successful in importing them to AM, and frankly saved more time just to model it. I think it is far easier to just get a rendered rotoscope of the model you want to have and then make it yourself. I have had success in modeling in AM and then exporting it to another program. The beauty of AM is the animation, and how you model it for that purpose is essential. For best success in animation, requires you to model it in AM:
  20. The way the ball went in remind me of the Borg's round ball went into hyperspace before hitting Earth! Just add a distortion mode before the boolean effect.
  21. It took me 2 whole day of rendering the 91 frame of flame for each scene. I composite the rest into the flame. The flame at that isn't realistic. I have tubes of the flame running along the edge of the burning part and it doesn't seem to registered that part at all. I don't know if anyone tried to burn paper with particles? I love to see it done well. I would love to see the paper actually rip apart as real paper do.
  22. I totally miss your concept. I thought you were making a film making kit for little red riding hood. I thought everything on that page was a film kit. I went back and read everything from the first page. Now that I am caught up. I do think what you are doing has open some eyes on the approach for one man to do it all.
  23. How is it now? http://www.gentlechifitness.com/images/skulls_and_bone.wmv I knew that I would get a political rant, but lets head it off here. I am a liberal and thats all there is to it. I know we started on the gas prices, but you can go to the off topic and rant there. I just want to make a Bush impressionist piece for the animation skill set and do it with humor. It's one thing to animate, but another to try to capture the heart of the person action. I regret that I don't have Bush voices, as I would have like to add laughter and another comment, such as "now watch this drive". But to use what they actually said and use it for another scene is even better. I couldn't find a wave file for the "Now watch this drive" part. so this is it.
  24. Are we talking about the Bush animation part or the flaming motorcycle?
  25. I am so sick of Bush voice, but I would like to hear your critique, for this or the next time. I think next time I would add a few more facial control, such as the deep furrow frown look. and the pushed in squinty eye look like he staring at the sun. I should of study other people impression of Bush before setting up the pose slider for the face. But from what I have seen on youtube, its mostly stiff CG animation or south park cartoon animation. I think I should of bobble his head more and have him not look down at the bike. Okay, one more time! I get back to ya!
