  1. Hi! Do you mean you would create each lash as a mesh? Low splines like (3) four point circles for each end and the middle? Yuuuup! Copy Paste Copy Paste. Then use the distortion tool to 'shape' it to the eye...copy paste/flip for the other eye... then attach all that to the eyelid bone. This way you can get EXACTLY what you had in mind. HEY TIM- Could I get your email address, gotta nuther private 'Q' re FM... (matt@campbellanimation.com)
  2. Cool model! Personally... I would not use a hair emitter for the eyelashes- too small and hard to control. I would model them with very low splineage. Leave the hair for other/bigger places like you have on the head.
  3. Are they 5 pointer patches?
  4. Where's the CLUTTER! This project(tight quarters) might make advantage of the FISHEYE lens model in the free models forum.
  5. Hi Andrew- You can render as .tga (TARGA) with an alpha channel for matting. How you use the alpha in PSD or AE is info you will also need to learn.
  6. Welcome! When I heard that most car accidents happen within 1 mile of home...I moved further away!
  7. Tim-

I need to talk to you about the FM animation I posted... I am on the road away from internet. Could you call me on my cel 248 872 5030 thanks. Matt

  8. Gene Wilder? Yeah...awesome sock puppet test!
  9. Check to see if you have the 'Michael Jackson' button checked.
  10. I came in at #175. Yeesh! I got a lot of 'I don't get it' remarks too. They really beat you up over lip-synch... I'd hate to sit down and watch Saturday morning cartoons with these people. Good job Robert! (75) Good Job Nancy! (125) Going to enter Decembers Gene Wilder CNCF contest?
  11. Feed me, Seymore!
  12. Thanks for taking the time to point that out, Rodney. I did not know that trick.
  13. You can do it whichever way seems most automatic to you...I guess I am a 'build it all in the choreography' kinda guy...
  14. can you make a feature request? Not for me...I multitask while A:M is rendering. I don't care if it slows me down...I'm rendering right now as I surf the forum.
  15. Thanks for putting this together, Rob. Wow, Nancy's Dell blew my Boxx out of the water! This is my work machine, I did not reboot before. I will next test my new machine at home. ver 15g subscription 15:16 Boxx Dual Core AMD Opteron Processor 275 2.20 Ghz 1 core? 25%? 5GB Ram DDR2 I think XP 64 sp2
  16. Good suggestion, Al! I have now renamed it FISHEYE and made it available with tutorial via the Contributors Cue free model forum. Thanks for reminding me of this, look forward to more Discovery images.
  17. Good test. What kind of compression are you using?
  18. You mean Quick Time Pro...right?
  19. If anyone is wondering (prolly not...) the skin on the old man is just the 'Plush' darktree sim with the colors altered to skin tones...works quite well for a quick 'rimlit' look that renders FAST.
  20. So Jake- you are saying... you made a new klieg light...turned it to volumetric... dragged it into the bones-mode of the model where it appears as a bone that you placed... and then back in modeling mode the car renders as all-black now?
  21. Cool image...but it begs the question: What has this to do with the Edmund Fitzgerald?
  22. That will stand-out as unique. Everyone seems to use the same character in the contest. I'll keep an eye out for it. I, also, slapped together an entry yesterday using one of my old TSM1 rigged characters (weird old man) Keep an eye out for this too: 11_second_NOV2009sm.mov
  23. Looks good Rob! 3 hours left...are you gonna MAKE it?
  24. I like your Vette model...it has a cool 'matchbox' quality to it that speaks to my 'inner child'.
  25. A:M... with some help from Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
