  1. You just keep getting better and better. That's a great lead character. Cool expressions too. One small observation would be that if you're going with a bow at the belt on the front, to maybe also put in a couple of unlooped ends too (like a shoe lace)......if it is actually a bow of course. Is she all your own work? Can't wait for the next ones.
  2. Heh....even his eyes are jiggling. It's like automated dancing....in fact I think I know someone who dances like that. Maybe it's motion capture....you cheat!
  3. You need at least 3 cps to create an arc. So, if you delete the bottom one, it'll be a line. You could play around with the bias values, but I would advise: Select part of the arc that you want (highlight the line and not just the cp). Press the Y key to make a new cp in the center of the line. Now you can delte the bottom cp. But why didn't you continue the spline down the cheeks to draw half of the face? And on that note, why haven't you go your roto lined up with your spline. Then you can just trace the line exactly with the spline.
  4. Just drag them into AM via windows. Or you can right click on the Images folder in the PWS and import them there. Then in your model window, get the view you want for an image eg the front view and drag the front view image from the Images folder on to the window.
  5. Do you mean something other than moving/rotating the camera? If not, then you just move and rotate the camera. Or another way would be to drop the camera onto a spline path.
  6. I really hope this style can be achieved in the modeling and especially the textures. Is Nep doing them? This short is going to rock if you can.
  7. Yes, you can use the stamp in the decal to restamp the same decal in the same place. However, the image on the right has no valid patches, so the decal has nothing to "adhere" to.
  8. For the different colored group, just swap the order of the groups and it will over-ride the other group with the frame color. Also, if you really need to....you can lock cps by using the lock icon in the toolset to the right. I don't understand the bonus puzzlement.
  9. Yes, I experienced it on a character recently in v14. However, I vaguely remember seeing a report on it so it could be fixed/fixed soon. But another report wouldn't hurt if you're using the latest version. BTW...I think the "Apply" button is great in the cp weighting dialog as you don't need to keep going in and out of it to see the results.
  10. I wonder if it would be good/possible if 5 point patches were automatically filled just like 4 point patches. Then if you wanted a hole, you could just select the 5 point patch with the patch tool and press a button to "unfill" it.
  11. No, Multipass doesn't do this. It increases the quality of the image with a higher setting.

  13. As Robert says in the other thread, you don't need kinematic constraints.....they could create circularities in the rig anyway. In fact, I don't think I've ever used a kinematic constraint outside a rig. As for AM not being able to have 2 KC's in the same chor, I put a constraint on both of Keekats hands to the table and moved the table to have his hands respond. I'm not sure what you're trying to do there.

  16. Taking a guess...... Select some of the cps on the stem and press the / key. This selects all the cps in the connected splines.

    Is it an old model? It's working here with v14a and a brand new model. Try pressing spacebar or reopening the project.
  18. That's looking great! This is going to be your best one yet. I can't wait to see these guys in 3D! Just another Nitpick on the slogan....I think there's a "the" missing (and maybe an apostrophe?):
  19. Right click on a chor>New light. You can change the properties of that light without going near the rim light.
  20. Could you supply a screenshot? I assume you're pressing A to make more splines.
  21. That's how it works here too. It seems a reasonable Feature Request (though it may not be high priority)......as there seems little reason to have the splines/cps listed in the PWS otherwise.
  22. The arm that you can't grab is in FK mode. Look for an IK/FK switch for that arm in the pose window.
  23. Are the jaw bones children of the head bone? They should be.
