  1. Fixed up the original WIP and posted it with the project for download you need the free darktree simbiot plugin for the fish materials its a version 11d project johnl3d finding Nemo it isn't

  3. Tried the emb..head model but made eye stalks from ear holes added a few simbiot textures v11 hair and tried to get everything moving...needs some tune up but its almost 2am here maybe tomorrow.. headm.mov
  4. took the model from here http://johnl.inform.net/pages/light&material.htm added some hair and got the attached light_mat_hair.mov
  5. looks great now covert it to hair and have a garden !

They don't fit because you are to use the idea not the effect...I really don't know what some of the stuff I post is "good" for I just try different ideas based on something I see or read here in the forum and occasionally I even help someone..sometimes off the "list if they ask. The idea I posted here was a simple way of showing that you can have particles/hair move along a path it would have probably looked better if the ground moved up and along too. But this reply is way to serious. Actually you might be able to see some of my stuff soon used on a site. Later more ideas to try

  9. the yoda quote is off of a poster my son has..I used it when I had another email account and then forgot about it for a while. added it here because like you said it fits ..too many times people are afraid to do something..or even try.. heck with AM trying is half the fun and often ends up as doing...with all the stuff I do I still haven't hurt myself..embarassed maybe but hurt.... johnl3d
  10. this "hair" test was used because of the linear way the hair reacts where sprites react differently also with the right animated hair decal you could show brain matter or blood or whatever spraying an you could add sprites for the small detail it was just a brainstorm like test johnl3d

  15. Just to try it I rerendered the sprite follow path thing I posted with an alpha channel and used it as the hair "sprite" to see how it would look growing and moving at the same time johnl3d weirdhair.mov
