Based on the squashy bones post I added a rand() expression to the X,Y,Z scaling properties and imported multiple copies and turned on the pose to use the expression in each . Now will have to try to add a simcloth ball to the mix with the original model as a defector but not tonight EXRANDOMSIZE.mov

simple wheat per request in other forum
johnl3d replied to johnl3d's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
I googled for wheat stalk and found a piece of jewelry that had wheat stalks which I then reduced to a few stalks with erase then alpha channeled the remaining stalks and saved as a tga file. Set up hair material used the image for the hair set it to I think 5cm wide and applied to simple model. I think I spend about 20 minutes on this and most of that was setting up the tga file. Hope that helps oh color with alpha channel Oh Pixel Dust is this you found it in old collection of AM stuff remember it was a great face model and thought it was yours -

even with TSN rigging can be exhausting
johnl3d replied to johnl3d's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
Not a real problem just takes a long time to get it right. And there is a lot of tweaking to do the test doesn't really show the quirks. I did a few hours and many restarts to get what you saw. So any suggestions on rigs welcome -

I'm posting a composite view..just don't laugh too much at the wireframe the hands/feet really need redoing the most but for a learning tool .... anyway here is the diagram and below I'll post a QT of what it can do now after working on it last night before I posted Figure this might help other model gene deprived individual and semi riggers Oh the eyes are the free Uber eyes added to the "head" bone in the rig along with the tongue bones -

Thanks you Dave.... and my others friends who are so supportive He can see now thanks to uber eyes but he decide to change his outer appearance I've got to decide on the feet/hands now ...maybe some tennis shoes .... or maybe hook him up and turn him into a sprinkler

Saw this creature while waiting for my wife to finish shopping and thought I tried to model it. Not done needs eyes and hands/feet and tweaks but this is what I got in a little over an hour. Threw on a simbiot darktree texture to make it interesting
