  2. and the project before the simcloth was simulated a good way to try different settings since the simulation does not erase. So I get to a point save the basic and then tweak if that version workks better save then revert to that verson for tweaking etc etc v12 leaf.prj
  3. the leaf falling idea inspired this...about 30 minutes of trial but it could be better with a better model etc.. Used a vorterx force to cause some of the movement and played with gravity for the rest leaffall.mov

  9. Jack not sure why yours is so intense. It might be my machine is probably older than yours..? I have a P4 1.7. If anyone else gets similar results please post. You can probably get different results by changing the gravity setting in the objects or mass and adjust some of the other settings. I usually work with extremes in this case 0 to 1 and then tweak. Did a real quick tutorial as promised http://johnl.inform.net/pages/simplenewton.swf.html set up two shapes as dynamic objects before settings for cartoony effect started tutorial sound gets a bit messy but my machine is old ( like me) set up last dynamic item set ground as static started simulation I think its about 3megs project below as it is before tutorial starts not sure how long I'll keep this up on site might redo without sound simplenewton.prj

Okay will do tomorrow because its late now but basically I set the ground as a static object and springs dynamic and adjust the settings used the multiple plugin to bring 10 into the chor set them in the air right click on one find plugin wizard and start the simulation and you see the results or almost...closer render sfamily1.mov

  16. took elephant of cd ..stripped him of decals groups etc applied cloud material from earlier project rendered after animating material in chor with translate cloudy.mov

  20. experiment ..most of the stuff I post takes less than an hour to setup test tweak alittle render and post
  21. any missing decals etc on xtra cd..... effects all on mushroom v12f materialmush.prj
  22. This effects were done here with animated materials ..the animation being done in the chor. Nice character from xtra cd materialmushroom.mov
