  4. 11.1h oh i also added some turbulence to the light and turned down the volumetrics volumetrical.prj
  5. this is a rush trial but i put a volmetric bulb in the globe and varied the light's fall off . Not sure if this will be of any use but the light size (gllow) does change volmetrical.mov
  6. Another quick test with hair ....streaks on the left ...blobbies on the right and gravity changing its mind. Also I peaked all the vertices and got a fanfoldish result Just want to mention that even with all this happening render was much faster than before..although I did simulated the cloth with all the emiters turned off first yeahII.mov
  7. Will be doing more tests including a hairy one it was late when I started so threw that this one together with what i found on hand then rendered posted and went to bed. In 8.5 I had invisible cloth with streaks wrap on ball great meteor

  11. Based on the squashy bones post I added a rand() expression to the X,Y,Z scaling properties and imported multiple copies and turned on the pose to use the expression in each . Now will have to try to add a simcloth ball to the mix with the original model as a defector but not tonight EXRANDOMSIZE.mov

  16. I googled for wheat stalk and found a piece of jewelry that had wheat stalks which I then reduced to a few stalks with erase then alpha channeled the remaining stalks and saved as a tga file. Set up hair material used the image for the hair set it to I think 5cm wide and applied to simple model. I think I spend about 20 minutes on this and most of that was setting up the tga file. Hope that helps oh color with alpha channel Oh Pixel Dust is this you found it in old collection of AM stuff remember it was a great face model and thought it was yours
  17. Animating picture is easy with AM and Photoshop. I grab the picture quickly got rid of the background made a path around the remainder exported path as Illustrator path Imported into model in AM with IA wizard applied picture as decal did a few adjustments and rendered like here http://johnl.inform.net/pages/pretend.htm
