  1. [attachmentid=22316] Not looking quite right but thought it could make an interesting sequence for a animated sprite In case you want to play with it [attachmentid=22317] spinner1.mov spinner.zip
  2. The "eyeball" caught my eye too I assume it was to be constrained to the surface

  4. Since Thursday night will probably the last night I would be on till Monday I wanted to try one more HAMR sample which I'll hopefully finish before Friday. I thought something like this might look cool in HAMR [attachmentid=21916] primitive.mov

  7. Caroline ..great job...glad I threw this idea out to the forum..you did a great job of using it. John
  8. amplitude might work to some extend but not the control to really get the effect...I have posted some amplitudes examples before...what I am thinking is typing in a series of "words" that would correspond on what part of the instrument was striking its sound in a song ..this in a dope sheet like you would have mouth movement for voice sync Not sure why you can't play it since its just sorenson3 qt
  9. Made a quick map in PS ..way to big 4x6 inch... one black to grey the other with some blue tones..same map just played with hue Then grabbed grid.mdl on cd and enlarged it some Fit decal onto model changed it to displace and cranked up diplacement to 25000%. Added color decal to folder and rendered grid using it instead of ground Interesting results [attachmentid=21670] find the hairy Waldo [attachmentid=21673] I converted the decals from tga to jpg in case any one is interested [attachmentid=21671] [attachmentid=21672]
  10. My brother dropped off the two DVD's of Animusic..(check google video's if you are not familiar). Anyway after watchin them for awhile I thought a version of this could be done with AM to some degree if we set up an instrument to act the same way a character is set up to talk and use a dope sheet to play the notes. This was just an idea and I threw this slient idea using just simple on-off poses (no dope sheet) to demo how a very simple version might animate simple [attachmentid=21652] John PS went to my 40th high school reunion yesterday evening ...had trouble figuring out who all the old people were that showed up simple.mov
  11. simple water like ideas http://johnl.inform.net/pages/9test19.htm http://johnl.inform.net/pages/9test18.htm http://johnl.inform.net/pages/10material10.htm http://johnl.inform.net/pages/monster2.htm http://johnl.inform.net/pages/105sim.htm http://johnl.inform.net/pages/watersim.htm http://johnl.inform.net/pages/105sim.htm

  13. found another of my old models the first with a bunch of poses but without the original materials so I quickly made some [attachmentid=21249] to learn from my mistakes here is the project file [attachmentid=21250] oldbird.mov oldbird.zip
  14. It was sold separately before V13 not sure for which versions
  15. I found this on my hard drive and decided it should be shared..not sure why I made the model using the font wizard and I think the font is called little creatures [attachmentid=21188] for people with slow connection [attachmentid=21189] project v13j [attachmentid=21187] little.zip alittle.mov averylittle.mov

  19. Tried v14 again terrain wizard, treezs.. distributed on terrain with sweeper then added some dark tree material and some hair [attachmentid=21082] wireframe side view [attachmentid=21083] project file [attachmentid=21084] hair image is sprite on cd and darktree materails not included but free ones avaiable from dark trees site [attachmentid=21088] turned off hair to speed up rain test not in project file unless there is interest test2.zip test_2_.mov
  20. [attachmentid=21054] This test constrained to path, lens flares, toonation xray material, and simple expression causing random light flashes. [attachmentid=21055] TG a_test14.mov test1.zip
  21. Darktree has an ice material
  22. [attachmentid=20995] Applied eye material to light and add a few primitves in a timely manner while messing with the material settings and got this. When I went to save the project it said I was denied access and it appears that it did not save..weird eyelight.mov
  23. My tinkering usually is the results of being some what brain dead after work ...Then when I finally get going I have only a short time so I try an idea that either presented itself here on the forum...like this abstract idea or something someone asked or ..maybe something I noticed on the commute to /fro work. When I retire I might have time to develop something but by then AM will have a button to do it Thanks for looking John L 3d aka Tinkering Gnome
  24. Sorry only 24 frame but I got to get some sleep [attachmentid=20982] here's the project file [attachmentid=20983] Basically one light some materials and a transparent screen distorted labstract.mov labstract.zip
  25. This is a similar idea I did awhile ago that should give you enough info to duplicate the new one http://johnl.inform.net/pages/9test19.htm It is really a two step process ..making the animation then viewing it through the right animated glass. Nancy ths should be easy for you
