  1. very cool, love the back ground music selection. I couldn't understand the last thing ol' boi says... Also what is the signifcance of the red guy jumping through the window?
  2. looks pretty cool, show with textures when its ready
  3. that's a trip. reminds me of a fishing lure
  4. Fay is amazing and the Yote Tale was very nice!
  5. truly awesome, what all did you use to make the movie?
  6. KenH : I read in another post that AVA is the same is AV2... You also said you couldn't change the geometery level (detail level) in ZBrush, but in fact you can, just go under the Tool pallete and under Geometry there is the Subdiv slider that lets you go up and down the subdivision levels and then you can export your model at any level of subdivision Hope this helps JackMcRip, you need to download the ZBrush practical manual, it takes you step by step through all you modeling/displacement questions, plus a lot more stuff. ZBrush 2 Practical Manual
  7. I love the photographic street animation, great compositing
  8. that's really cool! How do you do that?
  9. here is a velvety dark sim, all you need is the simbionat plug in for A:M at www.darksim.com then just use material, word to your mamma... Plush.dsts
  10. Just playing with fur and what not...
  11. that's cool all the petals seem to freak out there in the middle of the animation, is there some way to make it look smoother?
  12. wow, the hair looks really good in that last pic. I would suggest giving your woman some more cranial mass on top of her head, she seems a bit short in the brains department. Should be easy to try anyways...
  13. it's amazing those rims actually work! If the tire is going on a car, I think modeling the tread could be over kill, I think some clever texture, bump, and displacement could produce a good result.
  14. cool! Perhaps her shampoo is giving her too much shine in her hair
  15. cool, be sure to show us some in game screen shots! I see she has the "convienance crotch", I like this in a woman
  16. I think the arm stitching will be problematic with so many splines. I suggest using hooks on the bottom to get detail or just plain less splines and using a texture type solution if you want a bunch of detail at the bottom of the shirt, you know alphas and what not. Here is my approach to the shirt, I start with an 8 cross section lathe for the shirt body, then I make 6 cross section lathe for the sleeve, then I attach the sleeve with 2 splines for the middle of the sleeve and on spline on each side for the side splines. So on the sleeve, I have 2 splines on top and 2 on bottom, then I have one spline on each side, then i attach just like the giraffe lesson in the manual. I also only do 1/2 the shirt, the copy/flip/attach thing for other side Here is a pic, hope this helps!
  17. great scene, mushrooms seem a little cheery for the scene, maybe try some different colors on them. I also though some of the branches could be more menacing, you know the Disney hand/claw branch type thing.
  18. I love that design, and I want one! Something about the wood material I don't care for, it looks kind of like a laminate, if you know what I mean. Wood almost seems like a strange material choice for this design, or maybe its just too much wood? Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. I like how you did the wall and floor seams, much more natural than just planes meeting at 90 degree angles. Are those seperate models put in the corners or what?
  19. wow, that's good, the voice is perfect for the character! I watched "coffee" afterwards, and thought "hey that's not his voice...", the door slamming animation is good
