Ok, here's the thing, a couple of buddies and I are working on a short animation. Right now I'm developing the characters for the short. The main character is a bird, a caribbean grackle to be exact. At the same time, we're also working on the look of the film. I'm pretty sure I've got it nailed down, but of course, I wanna let ya'll in on it, so you can post your comments (if any). What do you think of the colors? What would be the best way of doing these characters in AM. Specially the bird, I'm debating over wether I should use the hair systems in AM 11. I don't want my computer to become too sluguish in the process of animating the sucker.

I had to put aside the project of "Trem do Pantanal" because it is a big project that requires more labor (modeler, animator etc etc). Meanwhile I began a more modest project, a short film called "Lau". I present you, "Lau" the main character which gives the name of the short. The rendering style is the same image below. There will be 4 characters: Lau Baby Lau character 1 dog I'll concentrate all my efforts to complete this project later this year. A while back I made this post: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2189&hl= Well, I've updated my model a bit, and just thought I'd show it off a bit. I actually made these updates/improvements a while back, but have just now decided to show it off. The texturing for the body is still incomplete (think of the texturing just as an example of what the texturing could be). I also cut down the splineage in the head and around the body. The patch count of the model from the previous post (above) was about 1074 (I think), and the new patch count is 974. Helping out a friend This is his product. This is the motion graphic representation I made of the logo for him. I had to do the sprite like light paint strokes via apples motion.
