Xtaz Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Since I modeled the anteater to be a competitor to our mascot contest, and it was the winner, I want to share it with you, my friends... You can download it here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1009127.../mascot_v18.zip Feel free to use it any way you want. I spent a lot of time working on its texture and I didn't have time to set a rig... sorry. In another topic Rich ( Vertexspline ) asked me about the vegetation...they are an OBJ model as well as the rocks and I used the "BitMapPlus kci:dnd" plugin material to texture them. The lighting was done using AO+IBL ( HDRI ) and a sun light. Did you notice the ant asking for peace with a white flag ??? Quote

Mechadelphia Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Wow! Thank you Xtaz! When I saw that image during the contest I was admiring it a lot. Then I thought that it would be great to be able to have a look at that model file to see how it was all accomplished. Now I can . Thank you again. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted September 4, 2013 Admin Posted September 4, 2013 Awesome Marcos! Thank you! Did you notice the ant asking for peace with a white flag ??? Whaaaa???? No Sir I had not! Quote
Admin Rodney Posted September 4, 2013 Admin Posted September 4, 2013 I couldn't resist creating a minor pose and rendering him in action. (No Hair and Materials here though... I did a quick bake of surfacing) Quote
Xtaz Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 (No Hair and Materials here though... I did a quick bake of surfacing) I tried bake surface too, but this process seems not working with properties driven settings... for all other decals it works like a charm. Quote
agep Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 This is an awesome piece of work. I especially love the cloth texture, hair and lighting. Well done my friend! Quote
