I am almost done scanning photos for my wifes family ..so far over 300 scanned and if possible repaired..anyway

 

I decide to "play" tonight with AM and looked at the extra DVD and found the DoDo

 

Here is my attempt to animate it and try something for a project I am working on

The arms are a bit slow which is better than my usual to fast. Yes its everclear I liked the beginning so had it readily available to play with when the oppurtunity arose. Thanks for looking

Good start. Move the camera to show him in a 3/4 pose and it will read better, especially with his long beak.

Getting there. The mouth is lagging a bit behind the words.

Okay I think this works or is pretty close and the arms move better

The asymmetrical arm movements muddy the emphasis on his words. Maybe both arms outstretched, palms up on "wonderful". I'll try to post a sketch of what I mean. EDIT: or maybe if you want to keep the fist in, more of an emphatic downward "by golly!" move with it.

 

This is a nice little piece and a good start!

here's two quick suggestions for an ending pose. The one with the fist down needs something more with the other hand I think. Anyway, just a couple of ideas that I hope will help you think this through.
