Dhar Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 John, that looks really good. You should animate more man Quote
the_black_mage Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 arms shouldn't move so slow, but the mouth and head are great! Quote
CreativeAustinYankee Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 The start of Wonderful from Everclear? Looks like a good start. Steve P. Quote
johnl3d Posted November 1, 2007 Author Posted November 1, 2007 The arms are a bit slow which is better than my usual to fast. Yes its everclear I liked the beginning so had it readily available to play with when the oppurtunity arose. Thanks for looking Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 1, 2007 Hash Fellow Posted November 1, 2007 Good start. Move the camera to show him in a 3/4 pose and it will read better, especially with his long beak. Quote
johnl3d Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 changed the position...not sure about the wonderful part and arms still a little slow awonderful.mov Quote
Kelley Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 changed the position...not sure about the wonderful part and... Getting there. The mouth is lagging a bit behind the words. Quote
johnl3d Posted November 3, 2007 Author Posted November 3, 2007 bwonderful.mov Okay I think this works or is pretty close and the arms move better Quote
Gerry Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 The asymmetrical arm movements muddy the emphasis on his words. Maybe both arms outstretched, palms up on "wonderful". I'll try to post a sketch of what I mean. EDIT: or maybe if you want to keep the fist in, more of an emphatic downward "by golly!" move with it. This is a nice little piece and a good start! Quote
Gerry Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 here's two quick suggestions for an ending pose. The one with the fist down needs something more with the other hand I think. Anyway, just a couple of ideas that I hope will help you think this through. Gerry Quote
johnl3d Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 Okay I changed the arms to fit the mood.... cwonderful.mov Not this is when the truck hits him...right ? just kidding thanks for all the suggestions I need to improve my animating skills Quote
