Gerry Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Great little demo John. I just got v 11.1 but this looks like a good reason to upgrade. Quote
ZachBG Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 That's fantastic. Now you need to make the strip holder move from side to side, just like a real car wash. Quote
dimos Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 ....and if you could please, can you let the simulation/animaton settle more to get a better idea of the overall settling? Please? Dimos Quote

Also added a slight side to side movement the first sec. if I have more time will try longer time or different settings but have been asked to try a shirt. thanks for all remarks new "car" I drive one every night on cd johnl3d acarwash.mov Quote
williamgaylord Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Wow! I am impressed with how well the cloth behaves! Especially the collision detection. I don't see anything poking through at all as earlier versions of cloth were prone to do. Are there tweaks in the cloth setup that simulate things like air resistance? Bill Gaylord Quote
johnl3d Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 lots of tweaks including friction stiffness etc just trying to understand how they react Quote
