  1. Very nice. I like you spline usage. The only problem I see is the inside of the ear. I think that could use a little work.
  2. Are you going to give him eyelids? Otherwise he's going to be looking surprised at everything
  3. I see huge, dead-looking fish eyes on that thing. I also think the gills rock. I think the neck could use a little more definition. I also like the drawing of the bicep area and hope you put that into the arm. Great work.
  4. Let me just say first that this is an amazing first model. I still have trouble with the human form. Now on to the crit. The ears don't seem to be sticking off the head at all. All ear, even ears that lie against the head, still seem to stick out a little. These seem molded right out of the "clay" of the head. It makes it look sculpted rather than a 3D model. That is the only crit I can come with right now. Great work.
  5. modernhorse is right. That head is way too spline havy. It does look good however, and you will learn spline conservation in the future.
  6. This is really looking good. I agree that the abs look a little boxy. Other than that, it's terrific.
  7. The energy bolts give me the the uncontrolable need too -- MWA HAHAHA!!!
  8. I just watched a PBS special on the Wright Brothers not too long ago, and this seems to be a good match for it so far.
  9. I'm sure your daughter is going to love it when it's done. It's looking really good so far.
  10. Lookin' like Goldberg. How do you stitch it together without loosing the decal on the ptches surrounding the melded area?
  11. It's hard to say that a tire looks great, but it does. Excellent work there.
  12. Hey Jim, she is looking beautiful. Something seems a little off with the hair. It might be the shine, I'm not sure. I also wouldn't mind seeing a modeling and/or texturing tutorial from you. I could sure use some extra help in areas.
  13. I've got to say, those are some impressive painting skills. I hope you can transfer the ones you like to your model effectivly.
  14. Hey Dagoos, I think this is looking really good so far. I think the "O" pose could use just a tad more "O"ishness . Other than that, it seems good to me.
  15. Now your point is being seen much more clearly. It still is an awesome image. Especially with the mockery involved .
  16. Except for the lack of ears this is a great ani.
  17. This is defininately -not- trendwhore work.
  18. Beautiful work here. Great job.
  19. Hey Dark, this is looking awesome. Congratulations on this. It turned out great.
  20. I really like this guy. I do think you should add a little bump mapping for fur, unless you decide to toon shade him.
  21. It looks pretty good so far, but doesn't the real guy have a mustache and goatee?
  22. Well since everyone is showing off their dragon creatures. I thought I'd help with a few wires of my old one. I removed the tail and wings since they're pretty big. Excuse the materials on the dragon. I imported it into 10.5 from 8.5, so they're a little wacky. Hope this helps a little. Jeff B.
  23. I love both version. I just think the new one looks more stable .
