  1. Added the lip hair. I need some help on getting a fabric look to the shirt. Steve
  2. David Pulled the shirt down to the arm as it was straight out from the middle. However the character, Tony, does have a bit of a hunch at the top of the shoulders. I have added the pants and will add the hair and facial hair. Complete the tennis shoes and he will be completed. I may change my mind on all of the characters as far as the clothing if I can not get the cloth simulations to work. Steve
  3. Hi David and thanks. Do you mean drop them downn? Steve
  4. Ok here is the shirt in place and with the logo for the hotdog stand. Pants coming this weekend. Steve
  5. Thanks Paul and Jeff. Rob this character reminds me of my coach Sellers at North Oaks Jr High in Haltom City Texas
  6. Thanks Gene!
  7. Very nice Stian. This is one that I would like to do as I feel in love with the Thomas world when my 6 year old son did. We had a wonderful time living on the island of Sodor. Steve
  8. I have been struggling with lower legs but feel ok now. Reduce the size of the chest and pull into lower mid section. I happy now with the overall shape. I have started on the hair and clothing and should have a update shortly. Steve
  9. Tony is getting closer to getting some clothes. Steve
  10. Very Clean!! Nice splineage, Jeff! Steve
  11. Congrats. looks great Gene, good job. Steve
  12. I usually start in the middle and work my way out. then from the bottom and work my way up the body. This one has been a challenge. Steve
  13. Adding body to the model. Hands next then legs and clothing / hair. Steve edit: three quarter view added

    HELLO!

    Welcome aboard. Steve
  15. Great job Steve!!
  16. Hi Gene, Thanks and you are right Uncle Fester. You are doing some really great stuff. Steve
  17. Good catch. I missed the flipped normal I had tested the porcelain mat. Here is the shot with the skin shader and the normals flipped. Steve
  18. Smoothed out the splines and now ready to tackle the body.
  19. Just a different look more than anything else. The roto I had drawn had the eyes closed more and when I started modeling I wanted something different. Steve
  20. Thanks all. You are right! Adding color helped me see some of the problem areas. Steve
  21. Thanks David. Been watching your progress on the rigs and tutorials Steve
  22. Took your advise and removed some of the chin and jaw area. Removed a spline that was causing such a crease at the jaw line. Here is a render of the changes. Steve
  23. Thanks for the help Steve. Once I get the body into place the neck may need more adjusting. Believe it or not the neck I am working from actually extends out further than what I have done. Thanks for the comments Steve. I agree about the chip bags. The bus has never been rigged. I have been following a couple of threads on how to rig the wheels for steering. I just d/l a car that was rigged and will try to set up the bus. Steve
  24. Here is a side shot. I took apart the back of his head to rework the ear and neck in the back.
