  1. Wow, that's some wild animation! Thanks for the link, Simon.
  2. this is too much daddy-o! Keep it coming!
  3. Hi Mark, finally watched this today and left a comment on YouTube. Really great work and lots of fun! I can see where you may want to tighten up some timing things but that will come with practice and I'm not about to niggle anything, I can see you're on top of all this! Keep it up! I'm going to go share it on FB now.

    Fixing stuff

Brilliant real-world use for this amazing technology. I know it may seem like a small, common item but that's what makes up most of the world! Thanks for sharing this, Stian! EDIT: Hey Stian, I noticed that the AM model was not beveled, and knowing that you are a beveling maniac I wondered if this is a requirement of the printing technology or your particular printer.
  5. Oops, didn't see Ed there! Have a good one!
  6. Hope you both have a good one!

    Cicak

"Cicak" has been accepted into the Queens World Film Festival here in NY and will be shown at noon on Monday Mar. 3. I am a total stranger to the whole film festival thing but it's pretty exciting! It's also nice that I can drive to it!
  8. Hi Rich, welcome back! Stick around, this forum is the best feature of A:M!
  9. Wow, nice model and nice test video!
  10. Great tips all around! I've been watching Barry Zundel's tutes and there are some amazing drag-and-drop and copy-paste shortcuts that he uses that are jaw-droppingly amazing to me. The depth of A:M is really awesome.
  11. Sean, when you're rendering have you watched the info box? it will show you what item it's working on and I suspect it's trying to render offscreen models. i've noticed something like this too.
  12. Got it, thanks for tips and help. the model bone was keyed in one of the poses.
  13. Well in poking around my poses I did find this in the TSM constraints relationships but I don't know what it means. But thanks for the headsup nancy, this all seemed familiar.
  14. Okay, I'll give that a shot shortly. EDIT: Okay, here's a movie showing Midge selected, then selecting other models in skeletal and muscular, then Midge again where the skeletal and muscular icons stay grayed out. Hope this shows something useful! EDIT: Deleted attachment as problem was solved.
  15. Hm, well she's constrained to a path and I'm using the model bone for that. I just tested her in a new chor and the bones showed up fine. I *think* I got the bones to show when working on the Mac a few days ago. Would the path constraint affect visibility of bones? Sometimes even the skeletal and muscular icons are grayed out when she's selected. This IS intermittent but I haven't figured out what makes them active/inactive.
  16. In several chors, My Midge model won't show its bones in skeletal mode or cp's in muscle mode. If I pick through the bones in the pws I can manipulate them but that's really slow and cumbersome. The other models I've checked seem to be okay but this one keeps acting up. is there something I'm overlooking that would cause this to happen?

    Pendulum

Really nice Serg2! And it doesn't bother me one bit that they're hanging by, what, the sides of their necks? Nice dynamics and color!
  18. I could see speeding that up for an explosion effect. Very nice!
  19. it's your day to spline! Have a good one!
  20. Happy Birthday Matt! May your bootes grow ever bigger!
