  1. What made the sky do that?
  2. I don't know what the status of those is. They've been mentioned before, but I'm not sure who has them or if they are uploaded or what. ----------- I'm the one who's supposed to be farther along on making them than i am. I'm glad you find them useful. Until they are all done I'll note that there are quite a few very informative, if not quite so slick, tutorials by many knowledgeable A:M users in the Tutorials section of the forum. If you are looking for somethign specific, ask, and someone will probably know if there is one already.
  3. I can start a project form scratch and the roll handle will grow as the object moves away from the model bone. Is there a good reason for that to happen?
  4. I just tried dragging a jpg from the Images folder into a modeling window for a rotoscope and it worked OK. Perhaps you have some specific situation that can be duplicated?.
  5. If you can create a sample case that demonstrates this that would be a good thing to report to AMReports. A screencam video that shows it happening is useful in these cases.
  6. You can file an AMReport at Hash.com/reports If you haven't done it before you'll need to get a user name and password set up there. If you are including an example PRJ make sure it has all the models embedded.
  7. This is not a mistake. It is correct practice to plant the model bone once and leave it in place as the character is animated to walk or run or whatever from its initial location. That is odd. It still happens in v18. I suggest you create simple case that demonstrates it and send that with an AMReport
  8. I enjoyed your production! You could call it "Biobot Saves Christmas" There were a few story points that were a bit foggy but i think i got it. I think you've got more animation there than I've done in my whole character animation life. Congratulations on getting the show done!
  9. I think the question mark icons are supposed to indicate that some link in the relationship is broken, like if the named target bone in a constraint is no longer there. But sometimes the question mark icons appear when there is not really a problem.
  10. If you save and reload are they still there? Do the relationships still work?
  11. I don't know about Android, but the linux market probably isn't much of a market in terms of willingness to part with cash to buy programs like A:M. I think most of them are drawn to linux because it is free and want their programs to be free also. That's just my sense of it, I haven't done market research on it.
  12. "Howwwwwwwwww-old is she?" A line I don't recall from the Saturday morning version.
  13. A linux port (and many others) have been suggested in the past. I think it's safe to say the resources to make such a platform leap are not available. It's not a practical endeavor due to the amount re-writing and debugging that would be needed.
  14. Congratulations and I bid you smooth sailing on the seas ahead!
  15. I think that is a vestigial command from the old (now obsolete) cloth wizard. I'm not sure how that worked or what it did. If you could find some documentation on the old cloth wizard (not Simcloth) it may give enough hints to experiment with it.
  16. Nice looking entries!
  17. The "Limit Max Drawing Time" option doesn't seem to work as intended in current versions of A:M but back in the days of slow computers and slow graphics cards this is what it looked like: LimitMaxDrawing_time_demo.mov In current versions of A:M, turn "Limit Max Drawing Time" OFF.
  18. I am not sure if it really is a bug... it prevents the view from blocking the program by limiting its drawing-time. If in that time, nothing can be drawn on the surface, nothing is displayed... or am I missunderstanding that one? See you *Fuchur* The time limit is only if the view is moving, turning, scaling, etc... A:M does as much of a redraw as it can in the time increment chosen. Once the view has stopped changing A:M should take as much time as needed to complete the screen.
  19. Anime girl looks good, I hadn't caught her before this! Merry Christmas!
  20. I'll note that you can create a custom toolbar to make an onscreen replacement for the Numeric Keypad... http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=45739
  21. Creating and Editing Custom Toolbars As an example of toolbar editing, this video shows how to create an onscreen replacement for the Numeric Keypad. Errata: at 06:27 I say that the Perspective/Orthogonal Toggle is not normally implemented on the Numeric Keypad. That was possibly true when I recorded the video in 2013. However, in 2024 it is certainly implemented on the "9" key of the Numeric Keypad. I recommend placing that button on the upper-right corner of the custom toolbar we are making and placing the "Increase Subdivisions" at the bottom. 22. "Limit max drawing time" should probably be removed. It hasn't worked in ages.
  23. Jessica Rabbit does not have a sexy ribcage.
