Instead of dragging the sound over the model, try dragging it down into the Action folder in the PWS.
-
You can transfer the models up to the newer version but not down, I'm afraid.
-
You're using a terminology that I'm unfamiliar with. How do you "attach" a wav file to a "model"? You import sound files (.wav extension) into your Sound folder that's in your Project Work Space (PWS). You then drag and drop that file in your Chor. or Action window.

The part that I find confusing, actually intriguing, is after you enter at the front door, how far down is it to go to the front room?
-
Nice looking house. I'm not sure how the front door works with the interior! Are there five steps down to the front room? Very strange entrance. I'm guessing this house is in Florida or some hot place with little rain, which explains the lack of rain gutters, the flat roof with access for some sun bathing and I'm guessing it faces east because its back windows are small so as to restrain the hot afternoon sun from heating up the interior. But at 30,000 patches, this'll be a bear to animate render time wise.

Nice work! I like that style very much

Short Film in Production: Ballet Pour Ma Fille

I agree, let's bump this thread. Peter, you've made quite an impression with your presentation of this project at last year's Hash Bash, are we gonna see you at the upcoming Bash? - Here's hopin' -
Simple! Yet effective. I will remember Crea after this. Job well done.

I don't remember seeing a skull model. Maybe others reading this post can help? As far as your other question about sub-polygons (I didn't even know such a monster existed) I'll leave that for others to answer. My exposure to polygon based programs is basic at best (Infini-D and 3DSMax). I'm pretty sure someone will give you the answer you're looking for. Looking forward to your finished creature .....I think

Yeah! Your model is spline heavy. That creates problems. Make use of hooks and I know you can get away with at least a third less splines than you currently have. I don't know what your plans are, but if I may recommend William Suttons Tutorial DVD on modeling http://www.cafepress.com/zandoria.29449757 In this tutorial he models a gorilla, but at least you can see where you can use less splines and still get the model you want.

In this tutorial you may find your answer: http://www.colins-loft.net/FaceTexture.html Good luck

Yeah, but God did all that in six days. So what's the hold up (I am only kidding, joking, poking fun, light humor - please don't read too much into it - no answer is necessary)
-
Yeah! And an A:M upgrade as well! Pronto!
-
That's cool. Reminds me of some creature you'd see on the original Star Trek Series
-
Ooooooh, I could use a house like that. Nice work Niels.
-
<sigh> why don't they make cars like this anymore? Very nice work indeed. Keep it up.

Welcome aboard William. Looking forward to see your work. If you have any questions or need assistance we'll be glad to help any way we can.

Looking good Al. Looking real good. I'd add a little orange to the fire. And the molding piece by the ceiling, I think it'll look better if kept white rather than taking on the wall color.
-
Wow! That was great. Anticipation, follow through, holds, the works. Turned out real well. Congratulations on a job well done

I'm impressed Chuck I like your sketches the most, the pencil strokes look really good. You have an eye for the classic comic style, simple, plenty of primary colors, easy to follow plots, appealing characters. Keep up the good work.

Very good start. Keep it up

Not bad Sharky. Not bad at all. You've got all the basic movements down with follow throughs and what nots. Where I would tweak things a bit would be in the jump. The follow through seems to come a bit too late and seem disjointed. I'd smooth that out where the torsoe would come down faster then slowly settle in the final squat position. I would also put a hold on the pointing when saying "Hey you", and also when saying "who are you?". The way they are now they seem to float away to fast to emphasize what he's saying. Keep up the good work.

Hi Seduar, Before I attempt to answer your question, let's go through some of the terminology used in Animation:Master so that we're all on the same page. There's no such thing as saving animations under actions. In your Project Workspace (PWS) you have 7 folders (Images, Sounds, Materials, Post Effects, Objects, Actions, and Choreographies). If you import or create anything in any of these folders you can save it any way you want. So you've created an Action, the default place that A:M will save your files will be in the Hash Inc. folder in your Program Files that is on your C drive. But if you want to save it on your Desktop (for example), then you can Right-Click on your Action in the PWS and choose Save As (like Paul suggested), that way you can choose where you want the file to be saved at. I am not assuming anything here, so if this seems too basic and does not answer your question, then please excuse me for not understanding you

Now there's a business idea! Virtual neon light

Very late chiming in here, but that warehouse gave me trouble too when I was participating in TAoA:M exercises. It's the only set that took very long to render.
