  1. I've just tuned in... well, I am not much of a car lover myself, so I was just skipping this thread until last hour, and then I decided to see what is all of this ruckuss about... aaaaaaaaand I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised! Jin-Kazama, great car, great modeling, hope that everything will turn out great with your ad... also thanks for the tutorial (I hope to see it finished one day), and who knows? maybe this ad will lead to your own (real, not digital Pourche ;oD) Keep us posted! Drvarceto
  2. Re: pee or no pee... It depends where are you going with this anim... If it is intended for general public... well, you know the works... On the other hand, there is 'crazy frog' anim that gets censored in the english - speaking countries (I think I saw it on the german version of MTV with all the parts present ;oP)... decisions... decisions... Drvarceto
  3. Cool Chars, GOOD Comic (Believe me, I know)... If the animation makes it moving (pun intended) it will reallu rock!!! (pun intended) Keep on posting!!! Drvarceto
  4. Great Character!!! Has personality, looks as if there is some real bones and muscle in him... I see a lot of animation potential... If only I could see some wires... ;oP Drvarceto
  5. Great characters, can't wait to see them move... ... so start moving them ;oP Drvarceto
  6. I would also exegerate the legs just a little bit (not too much), other than that I think that this Batman is COOL!!! I just love this model! Drvarceto
  7. Cool scene... 'wanna see more! Drvarceto
  8. Droplet needs to be even more than little transparent... 80 - 90 % I would guess... Dynamis constraint works this way- make chain of bones in the model window, sellect their appropriate CP's and then, in action, pose or choreography right click - new constraint - dynamic constraint - then coose last bone of the chain... voila! You may need some tweaking to do with the dynamic constraint and there is amazing educational film on the AM films (easiest way to find it would be latest info on this forum) Cool and cute character - keep us posted Drvarceto
  9. ChrisThom: say HI to your wife - compliment from the professional! wooo hooo!!! Dhar: Thanks! It just might happen! (somewhere far far away - but I'll am not gonna get no money for that - or so it seems, unless somebody from this forums decides to buy it ;-D) Drvarceto
  10. TurboGorilla, thanks for the input... btw, you sound as if you have some cool drawings to show... can we / me see some? Drvarceto p.s. basic form of the teeth should be accurate to the best of my knowledge... although I had to make some compromisses... I first modeled only one tooth (I think lower jaw 3rd) and then I pushed and pulled CP's until I got all 16 (times two, that's 32), but I avoided using eights beacuse of their difference from the real ones... I still think that any texturing would make them even more unhappy...
  11. Mighty cool for the first post!!! I can't wait to see where the biker (sky) road will lead... Drvarceto
  12. COOL model so far... let's see if it will grow up into big ork someday ;-P keep us posted Drvarceto
  13. aposphiro, I agree that all that 'wearing braces' is unappealing... even I would say that it is a bit terrifying... and this anim is not trying to convince anyone... I will live that to the Orthodontist! The basic idea is to remind all those that need it that there is sollution to their problem... however scarry it may seem... while making this animation, I' ve seen a lot of pictures of people wearing them and I am grateful that I didn't needed them ;-D What I need is critiques to the execution of the animation and how to make myself better at it... I am pretty clear about the general idea of this animation and I am not going back to it... Thanks everyone so far, hope to hear some more... Drvarceto
  14. I tried to read the starsphere thread and it really made me very grateful that I choosed non - maths proffession.... Uh, even looking at those equations... Thanks! Drvarceto
  15. You have one grumpy rabbit there... Good start - keep us posted Drvarceto
  16. Thanks for the critiques, you are really helping me, I think that it will show in my next short... I've decided to call it a day on this one... Charlie, Drvarceto means 'Woodman' in my language ;-P And I think that (having in mind raving hormones in any teen body and the fact that looks is THE most important thing (I know, I've been there ;-D), this shorts needs only to be seen and it would do the trick - of course this is my oppinion...) Nancy, yeah, I am aware of the repetitiveness at the end - I made it that way (I made 5 sec cycle that repeats some 3 times but I thought that most of the people would concentrate on the text so it wouldn't matter... Thank you again... Want some more Drvarceto
  17. Hey! Great looking horse! I think that this is going to be best A:M horse so far! Keep us posted! Drvarceto
  18. Thank you, squash / stretch was opted out early beacuse of the un-tooth like behaviour ;-D textures would make teeth look sick (healthy teeth don't have surface properties other than glossyness) Thank you VERY much for your oppinions Want some more Drvarceto
  19. Sorry, I don't know how to make link but my animation contest entry can be found at the hash.com, - > animation contest - > contest entries - > Trajce Taneski... Except for the theme which could be counted in the mood shot with a lot of tolerance, what do you make of it... please your thoughts, areas of improvement etc Thank you in advance Drvarceto EDIT: If I am not doing something wrong, this should be the link> http://www.hash.com/animationcontest/Q0205/05.mov

  23. Thank you guys!!! This is more of an explanation that I ever hoped for!!! I think that this will be noticed in my next (first) short (darn: I have to rerender a bunch of files) Thanks again Drvarceto
  24. I second that: 'dangit , any mod wanna maybe copy that thread into a non fellows only location? pretty please?' pretty please with cream on top? Drvarceto
