  1. Hey how do you do those spline progression movies? I assume you replace the model with a newer version in the chor every few seconds. It sounds very time consuming.....do you have a quick way?
  2. Real nice characters in this thread. Time for some animation methinks.
  3. Superb. I'd like to see less twinning in the animation, but I think maybe that's how it was in the originals. We'll find out next summer!
  4. You've outdone yourself Satyajit! Brilliantly executed and so quickly too! You put elephant into a perfect setting! The only problems I see is that there are some words missing in the english translation
  5. Hey Angelo. Here's the thread on SSS (Sub Surface Scattering)..... http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...5867&st=60#
  6. Wow. Throw in some SSS and it would be complete.
  7. Start with a low mesh and add splines to it. Right now, you've way too many which is causing creasing. In particular the splines running from the nose to the upper lip....some of those can be deleted. Imagine if you wanted to animate this character....all those cps would need moving round. Also some of the spline organisation seems abit off. Look at some of the characters on the cd for a better idea of how they should go....this will cause you to be more economical with the splines and reduce some more.
  8. I have wanted to do this a few times, but the work around of copying each individual keyframe across isn't so bad. If you want both the wings to move in the same way at the same time, you might try making another "master" pose that controls both the existing poses.
  9. Good start. Being honest, the character is pretty scary looking. I don't know if he'd attract younger musicians.
  10. I'm not sure about porcelain.....I don't think it was around in the v9 days. Maybe wrong. But do yourself a big favor and upgrade to the latest version asap. Your hair will thank you.
  11. Real nice work. You're technique is improving all the time and the output is reflecting that. PS You have a really talented background artist. I'd love to see some of his work in TWO at some stage.
  12. It needs to be smaller than 3mb.
  13. Excellent. The bears paws seem abit narrow from the front through.
  14. I've just caught this. Maybe this was covered earlier too... It looks like the upper legs are changing length. Like it has a suspension. I don't know if that's right. I would have thought they stayed the same length and the "hips" go up and down to get the stride. I'm not sure though.
  15. I like him! His head won't turn much!
  16. Well done on completing it (excluding background). No real comments except for the rhyming at the end. It would be nice if it rhymed.
  17. I'm off the net for a while, but I'm about half way through modelling the elephant. I'll probably use the eyes out of the lion to keep them similar.
  18. Excellent. I agree about the pupils. Is that toon rendered? Good to see you're working with AM!
  19. The youtube one doesn't work here.
  20. Another small point....there aren't any hinges on the door of the cage Hansel is in.
  21. Another great segment. No real comments other than to show the witch's face in shot 94 while she's speaking. Not essential though. PS Also in shot 96 Grettle's eyes are totally black.
  22. Thanks Satyajit. Good tips again. I'll take them on board and record some more soon.
  23. Yeah, excellent tips. I sent you my samples.
  24. Add a null in a pose/action/chor then use the aim at constraint to aim each of the eye bones at that null.
