Is it a paying job? There's a section of the forums devoted to collaboration projects.
  2. Texturing is on-going. In the mean time, you can rotate around yoda with thanks to HAMR. yoda.html
  3. Here's similar threads from the past. The second link has the plugins you can put into your hxt folder. http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21901&hl= http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21216&hl=
  4. Looks good. But why didn't you continue to post in the previous thread? What sort of lighting do you want?
  5. Correct. I think I might even get away with straightening the ear using the rig....it might need some cp tweaks too. Here's the test map on his face to check for any stretching. In the previous render, you could see the deviding groups for flattening. The face will be on a 2048x2048px decal while the foot and hand will be on another 2048x2048px decal. Then I'll CFA the foot and hand. Oh and btw, I tried putting hair on his cloth cloak and it worked. I thought we couldn't do that.....so anyone needing fur coats, fire away! Now for 3DPainter!
  6. The first one rotates the camera....isn't that what he wanted? I dunno. The second one needs SHIFT held down also.
  7. The higher ther stiffness the better. It happened to me when I moved my model around but these settings seemed to make it better... Object collisions On Low bounce Friction.....high value seems to be the way to go, but experiment with this one.
  8. A quick answer.....hold down shift and the middle mouse button and move the mouse around. If you don't have a middle button....press T. Then press the left mouse button and move the mouse around.
  9. Exellent work. Can we see the reference image?
  10. Well, Dark Jedi has been PMing with me saying he's making one. Since I said I'd use his several weeks ago, I'm going to use his.
  11. Yes. But first I have the fun task of flattening his face.
  12. Cheers guy. Dude: That's a nice saber! Alas, someone else said they were working on it before now, so I'm sorted on that. But thanks for the offer. About his body....my model seems to have a longer body than the one in the last image. Or maybe it's the angle.....
  13. Glad it's sorted. Now nail those ears shut so the info stays in there!
  14. Been experimenting with cloth and texture with Bitmap Plus (cool plugin!). I don't think I'm there yet (it's hard to make it look good) and I'm worried cloth will be prohibitive for animation. But I don't know any other way to go. Anyway, I'll leave that for now and move on to texturing. Got to buy 3DPainter now!
  15. Yes...I assume that screen capture is an attempt to Save As the project. It still has models saved externally to the cd drive. So, it will try to save them there until you tell it to save the model somewhere else. Man, you're having a hard time getting your head round externally saved models.
  16. You're obviously a talented modeller. Can't wait to see what you do in AM!
  17. No....just $99. It would be the same if you owned v1.
  18. Save it somewhere other than the cd drive as the cd is non writable. That includes any images and materials used by the model.
  19. I guess "settles" would be a more accurate word. It's modeled about a centimeter off his body. I'd like to see that tutorial/project. Edit: Here's how he's modeled....
  20. Pointy toes it is.... I'm experimenting with simcloth but when it falls, it "irons out" the creases I've modelled (see image). Is there any way to preserve those creases while still having simcloth effect them? Also, I'd like to give the cloak some thickness but I'm keeping it simple for now. PS I discovered that hooks don't work well with cloth.
  21. I should probably increase the size of his nails to make them more clawlike. He has five toes on his feet....you just can't see the other two. Cheers!
  22. Whoohoo...he has feet and hands now. Just the cape left and then on to texture.
  23. I believe Stephen knows exactly what he's doing and where he went "wrong". But for you....it's that the irises are on one side of the eye socket on one frame and on the next frame they're on the other side. In effect, they could be considered un-animated as they are just the extremes.
  24. Does it not have to have five stars before it gets on the front? If not, who do we pester?
