Looks great! You really should send some of this into 3D World or something.
One question though...in the big image.....the tree and rock on the right don't seem to be casting a shadow. Or maybe the shadow is in a different direction to say the house shadow?
A quick and easy way would be to select all the cps and press the P key. But it won't look great. Curves are in the nature of splines. To "uncurve" them you need to select the spline and adjust it's bias in it's properties.
So you pressed Pageup several times....until you hear another beep. I'm not sure what else it could be. Maybe try switching to Opengl or DirectX? A screen shot might help diagnose.
For example, at 17 sec, on the word "drinking", there's no Oooo mouth shape for the R sound. Looks odd. And generally, at times it looks like he's either mumbling or shouting the lines....but you're not from the sound in the dialog.
Sure you can. When you highlight all the keyframe cps, don't pick the end of the highlight box and stretch it. Instead, drag the middle of the box to frame 30. If you're in spline mode in the timeline, you may need to hold down the 1 key as you drag.
We'd need to see a screenshot of your render settings to answer that accurately. From looking at the scene, it shouldn't take that long. Also, what are your system specs...
The cheek areas look rougher than usual. Try selecting them and pressing the O key. Then check that their bias magnitudes are at 100 (select a cp and look in it's properties).
There still looks like a few strange areas though it's difficult to see as the cps are so small. Searching the forums for spline rules or something like that should bring up some helpful threads.
I think you could reduce the spline number going round the cheeks to get a smoother result. Also the number of splines coming out of the eye socket.
Taking a break from TWO, I got inspired by this physical model and created my own rendition in AM. Still yet to be textured/displaced and animated. He's more or less rigged. I'd love to show off his animation in HAMR with realtime fog but we need the next player for that.....
It's abit unfair to compare render times. Was every setting equal? Was the quality of the renders exactly the same? Hard to say. As for the realtime issue...I assume you don't have realtime quality at its highest setting. What graphics card are you using? Are the drivers up to date? Try switching between opengl and directx? Maybe v8.5 is optimized for your card and v15 not? So many variables.
Definitely more ram will help.
