  1. Thanks Noober!
  2. Hi everyone, I've noticed some of the renderings people are use are soft and almost gradient like. The rendering setting that I always use is just final, which looks sort of like plastic. Does anyone know how to get a softer rendering? Masna
  3. Very cool!
  4. Very cool stuff John. What version of Photo Shop do you use?
  5. I was looking up Animation Master on YouTube a couple of weeks ago and found that exact short. I really like the modeling and texturing of the monsters. And why not look Sprunt on YouTube? Is it really that bad?
  6. Wow, that's a great style you have going there Cross, Maybe you could make a Gundam like battle scene. EDIT- Where did you find that awesome background, or did you make it?
  7. Oh, it's an mov. It's probably to big to upload on hash.
  8. Wow! That's amazing Fresh! The only thing I think you should fix is the reflectivity in the window. It's very well done, but for some reason looks strange at first sight... Though I could be wrong, plus who am I to know?
  9. I just play the game on my 360, so I didn't really have any problems. As for the gameplay, I see how you can find it repetitive, but I guess It's not for eveyone.
  10. Yes, I did exactaly that.
  11. No- not a plug. I made the 5X5(25) 2-sided square patches and then carefully put a bone at the axis of each. I then made an action and animated the 1st bone with the spin just the way I wanted...and then gave all the others an 'Orient Like' constraint with offsetting lag values- so the 2nd row was 3 frames late...the 3rd row 6 frames late...etc I then put the action where it needed to be in the chor and animated the decal transparency values between 1-100% to get the decal I needed to show when it needed to show. Wow that's brilliant! I would have never thought of such a technique. At least I now have that tid bit of knowledge for future reference.
  12. A quick update:
  13. I tried that but it didn't work... There was a message at the bottom saying "You did not select a file to upload," but the file appeared correctly in the box titled "browse".
  14. Wahoo! It's done! But Hash won't let me post it because it's too big of a file. But at least I have that out of the way!
  15. Wow! That's amazing! Is the tumbler effect a Plug-In?
  16. I used the technique with the duplicator in the link posted by Caroline to create my avatar. If you play with it for a while you can get some really cool shells.
  17. Not bad. Bioshock is my all time FAVORITE game!
  18. Wow! Great project so far. Great job on the pagoda too. I tried to make one for a project I was doing but it didn't come out nearly as well.
  19. Thanks for the tip Austin! ^^
  20. I was trying to clean some memory room on my computer when I found this old model I had never finished. Here's a screenshot, tell me what you think of him:
  21. Amazing modeling Eric!I envy you.
  22. Oh thanks John, it works now.
  23. Thanks for the help Caroline, but I just have one last quesion about the project file you posted. When I click on the file to save it, it just opens a new tab and has a command string, or something like that. Hyperchaotix, I'm glad you like the project so far. Welcome to Hash.
  24. The problem I'm having with the eyes being connected to the nulls is not having the eyes constrain to the null, it's having the eyes being able to turn move around the face. I have the eye bones placed in the middle of the sphere so they can rotate without penetrating the the face (I've attached a screenshot of that). Attaching a null wouldn't work because the eyes would just stay connected. As for the brow, and hair. What I want to accomplish is the brow being attached to the hair, and the hair being modeld.
  25. Yay, I'm back on the project! I made a quick choreography rendering test. It looks better than I ca ould ever imagine.
