I had a similar job come up a couple months ago and foud that A:M was the best tool to recreat the 2d character I was supplied with. The toon renderer really works well for this stuff! I second the notion to show some close ups of the wireframe, because I have always had a hard time with the corners of the mouth, in AM. Don't know why, but I had a hard time getting the proper definition without creases. And I must say the render is superb, I am sure it took a while, since it seems that you have quite a few lights in there. Please let us in on the secrets.
