Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 18, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted December 18, 2008 I'm impressed with your take on caricature in 3D, so quickly after jumping into it. But, remember when you asked if you were improving? Well, we really need to get you splining better. It doesn't take any longer and your models will look better. Quote

Xtaz Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Hi Spleen.... Modeling is an art as well as painting and sculpture. And the secret of the arts is the harmony, the modeling must follow this rule. Analyzing your model I can notice 2 big problems that are breaking the harmony 1- Lack of continuity in the splines. 2- A single control point as vertex for more than 4 patches. I'm producing a video tutorial right now, using your model to demonstrate how to fix it.. I'll upload it tomorrow.... Quote
TheSpleen Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 Yay! I get to be a bad example!!!!!!!!!!! LOL cool! Looking forward to it Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 21, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted December 21, 2008 2- A single control point as vertex for more than 4 patches. Aha! I've been searching for a good phrase to describe that. Quote
