3DArtZ Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Hey guys, I just finished modeling and rigging this character. To test the rig out I put together a quick run cycle. Rendered @16 pases and moblur. [attachmentid=22278] http://www.vrcops.com/vids/Runit.mov Quote
Chad_Hunt Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 very nice, the run cycke loks great, the only thing is it looks as though the feet slow down when in ccontact with the ground. Other than that very nicely done. Quote
itsjustme Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 He looks great, Mike! The only critique I have is that the pupils look strange that far outside of the whites of the eyes from the side (in the animation, the still image looks fine...maybe because the pupil is blurred some in the still and just looks closer). Cartoon Tycoon Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 That's very cool dude. I like the secondary motion in the hat. Quote
johnl3d Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 The "eyeball" caught my eye too I assume it was to be constrained to the surface Quote
3DArtZ Posted November 15, 2006 Author Posted November 15, 2006 Hey guys, thanks for the comments and checking it out! The eyeballs/pupils thing bothers me too, but it was in the design of the character.... This was for a paid job and I had no real say on the eyeballs.... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com Quote
Dhar Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Beautiful work. That rig is awesome. Nice work Mike. Please let us know when and where he'll be starring Quote
Paul Forwood Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Excellent work, Mike! I agree about the eyes though. Quote
3DArtZ Posted November 15, 2006 Author Posted November 15, 2006 Hey guys, thanks for checking it out! Don't know where/when he'll make his debut...... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com Quote
KenH Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Excellent. I agree about the pupils. Is that toon rendered? Good to see you're working with AM! Quote
