frankH Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Hi, just want to show you, what i´m doing in the moment. Hope you like it and send some comments. Greetings Frank Quote
Grubber Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Nice! And lighting looks very good! Higher res? Quote
R Reynolds Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Good architectural rendering. The directions of the shadows from the skylight lattice suggest that the exterior light is coming from a nearby frosted window as opposed to direct sunlight. Is this what you had in mind? Are the four spheres supported by the art deco fixtures on the landing going to be internally illuminated? Quote
agep Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 It looks very nice indeed! But give us a highres Quote
Zaryin Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Wow, that look beautiful. I would also like to see a higher res. Quote
ypoissant Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Wow! You really have a knack for architecture and interior design. This is beautifull. Quote
frankH Posted March 23, 2005 Author Posted March 23, 2005 but only thanks to you Mr. Poissant and your wonderful radiosity tutorials. Quote
NancyGormezano Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 it really is quite beautiful - I am curious tho , as to why there isn't symmetry in the area between the "globe fixtures" - is it because of camera angle or fov? - looks odd to me ... love the rendering - reminds me of architecture very similar to Lick Observatory on Hamilton Mountain - in the San Jose, California area. Is your building an imagined place? Quote
modernhorse Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Stunning work Frank! Is this your own design ? Doug Quote
Mr MM Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Sure nice! Really nice! How many square meters? How many photons? How many hours rendering? To me it looks like something from the 1920:s. I am thinking of expressionism.... Peter Behrens the architect... http://www.ihr-nachbar.de/home/nachbar/na-.../behrensbau.htm Having made an interior why not an exterior? Erich Mendelsohns Einsteinturm is as made for A:M! http://www.aip.de/groups/soe/einsteinturm-d.html Googling on this period I found this really amusing lamp. As made for A:M. It is a robot - as you perhaps know - the word robot comes from the Polish verb robota that means to work. http://www.pacgal.com/Pacgalstorepics/July...04/DSC_1261.jpg Is this picture connected to your Laragach (Architektur Design) project? About towns before the first WorldWar. Peter Behrens AEG factory is from that period. http://www.aquarius-multimedia.de/grafik/p...ach/b_n_o_g.jpg Sure I like to know why you have choosen that period? It is a really fascinating period. Man has discovered electricity - and have new tools to use.... turning out not very good.. in the First WorldWar.... I have also been interested in that period due to Tesla and his inventions ElectroMagnetPulse Weapons and EartQuakeMachines - now being realized... Now then some very influential tells us WW IV have started: http://www.commentarymagazine.com/podhoretz.htm belonging to this club: http://www.thefourreasons.org/pnac.htm But there was some good things.... like the Tesla Tower to experiment with communicating around the globe using the earth mantel and to produce FREE ENERGY - the end of wars?!., Here is the Tesla Tower built in the beginning of the 20th century http://www.teslasociety.com/pictures/teslaxc2.jpg It was not only architecture those years - they had a certain view on man: http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/images/TESLA.GIF Quote
Paul Forwood Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Looks like a very nice piece of art deco in the making. The lighting really makes it! I'm intrigued by the two patches on the wall. Is that where they got hit by window tax? Quote
Tony Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 That looks so good. Really get a sense of depth. I actually like the low rez render. Isnt that funny, i dont care for the yellow hue. Really really nice work tho. Quote
Aminator Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Awesome. Nice camera placement/composition as well. I'm intrigued by the two patches on the wall. Is that where they got hit by window tax? That's where the paintings were stolen from, right? Quote
