  1. Hi Shortdog ... I did another version of quick attach ... avi / 2.9 Mb / 2:06 I noticed some creases in your model, they indicate a modelling that should be gotten better ..have in mind, always use the minimum of patches ..
  2. I did a little avi showing how to attach leg / body quick ... its simple but works ... AVI / 3.8Mb / 49 sec
  3. import a 32 patch sphere from cd .. use S tool to scale it up in Y axis .. select half sphere ( dont select the middle spline ) delete it .. use K tool to break lines ... Now attach leg and arm you must select all model then hold SHIFT key and select a horizontal spline attach leg and arm to torso then c/f/a it ..
  4. Hi shortdog, when im modeling a character , I just make half of the model then copy/flip/attach it, in your case, I would make the torso now ..
  5. Hi Markus : nice character ... my two cents, the next step would be to weld the legs to the body ... make a nice texture to him, and work whit lights can we see wires ??? keep the good job

  15. hI .. Thx for your comments .... about the trees ... they are coming whit Skycast... I use just leaves to use as grass ... the cars .. i downloaded them from the Free models site except the PORSCHE´s that i modeled them ... I rendered another view Peace Xtaz

I would like thank you for your words... now I see as a character can change our concepts, I only began to do those deepened studies of light, to insert Pzu in a more "real" atmosphere ... Thanks Pzu ... About lights ... i did a smal swf showing the 3 light that i used to lighting 1 - Fakeosity light - using the global illumination and the sun light (mentioned below), I rendered a small piece of the balcony and the wall( pic 1 ), to do the map that I used to calculate the fakeosity ( done using skycast´s lights as default klieg ) ( pic 2 ) pic1 pic2 2 - Sun - here i used a basic sun type, whit 100% shadow darkness, 400% intensity ( because the global ilumination has a high intensity too ), and a pure orange color 3- Global - here i used skycast whit a field map... green and blue ... the skycast´s lights are sun ( whidt = 1000 / Fall off = 20000 / Intensity = 500 ) and VOILA ... Showing lights ..... Is there a way to insert SWF here in the body of message ?????? Thanks again Peace Xtaz

You are quite right... there was another picture with skulls and I must have changed the artists, thank you for the correction ... thank you for your comments about the lighting, the next step is to do this kind of ilumination in a short .. im testing some renders now.. . AVATAR- I use the expression test ( page 3 ) and create a swf whit 15 fps... the result was good and 260Kb only .. now im transforming some avi´s and mov´s in SWF... im getting 50% less kb ... i transformed the Mr. Ball´s normal death : MOV ( SORENSON )= 7.3 Mb AVI ( DIVX )= 2.3 Mb SWF = 830 Kb Nice results !!!!   25. HeadlessBill he already overcame this phase, he is getting ready for the x-mas now ... I used just one light, and worked almost 1 day to put radiosity to work ... as well as in the other radiosity test, I used 100 passes, to improve the acuracy ... render time was 5h34m Thx for your comment ...
