Water Splash underwater bubbles stuffish
Kamikaze replied to Kamikaze's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
Here is a top view, all Ive added is a little more to Eddie's movement, the timing is way off ,to slow at the begining to fast under the water. Ive been trying to get a simcloth water surface but get funky artifacts when the cloth is at certain angles. ill work with it some more and post a clip of the funkyness if I cant figure it out.... Tried blobbys but rendering was taking to long...... Michael Water_Effect_TView.mov -
Yea, this is looking great ! I specially like his stance, nice pose......to get him to look a little more planted to the ground plane have his feet/shoes go below the ground plane a little, you knew that though...... Michael

Fire breathing dragon video opener thing
Kamikaze replied to gra4mac's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
That was really cool....if you can say a fire breathing dragon is cool... Agree with Vern here, maybe a side to side head movement after the initial circular motion of the dragons head, also get the fire the vary a little in it direction. but for what its suppose to be actually if fine the way it is, and you should be darn proud of it as well as the school. Well John, seems your hard work after all these years is rubbing off on me, or maybe we're just twin sons of different mothers. So glad you understood my (cough, cough) tut Mark, this might be the first time Ive actually helped just a little. Michael -
John, I was sure you had your spam filter on to filter those out...LOL... Michael

I've been waiting and waiting and hoping and hoping that "Martin" the GPP (or would that be GP?), would join this thread and enter the drawing, I would have laughed my hass off, and I don't have much of one, so my wife tells me.... Me

Water Splash underwater bubbles stuffish
Kamikaze replied to Kamikaze's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
Mark, Im not great at explaining what im doing or have done so bear with me...On the sprite I set it up at first in the material section of the PWS, the basic settings, then after I get it in the choreography I set or reset things like rate of emmision and the such on the frames I want it to start, so I usually have ROE set to 0 with a hold interpolation until I want it to start emmiting. I hope I remembered that correctly...if not Just ask and Ill try to save out the project and post it here... Thanks all for the comments Michael -
Ok taking another little break from my c-130 aircraft model, this time Im goofing with a water splash(no splash yet though) ...oh well , something like the topic title, attached are a couple short clips of theb Eddie model from the CD falling into what is suppose to be water, the motion and timing and just about every thing else is way, way off, all I was doing on this go round was working on the sprite air bubbles, and I slaped together a simcloth water surface, with sloppy settings, a lightgel on a light, and some sloppy eddie key framing of him flopping underwater.... More later I hope... Any suggestions are welcome and noted, Michael[attachmentid=12452] And this view[attachmentid=12453] Eddie_Dive_n_Splash_Water_Bubbles_test4f.mov Eddie_Dive_n_Splash_Water_Bubbles_test4r.mov

Yes , John, interesting, what's even more interesting to me is how every time Im looking to learn about or learn more about an aspect of A:M there you are with a helpful file just in line with what I'm needing (Im not kidding)......are you reading my mind? or do you have spies?.....either way..... Thanks you !!! Michael

Cool bunny, so far it doesnt scare me, but neither did the bunnys in "quest for the holy grail" that is until the carnage. Michael

On yes, I realise. I dont think Id have it in me to model 4 of those buggers....LOL..i model in one window them copy/paste into the main model.....Im still debating about putting them in place within an action, I have my original c-130 all done in a model window but this action technic looks interesting to say the least. Thanks, Michael

Very nice, looks believeable to me.......I can already see them in an underwater (where else...LOL) scene. Michael

Latest update of the eng and cowling, Ive taken a break on the modeling of engine componetes (the hoses are render as lines splinage, unfortunatly RAL gives a flat 2 d look. ) Ive added bump and color decals , finally learned how to flatten with my eyes closed, well ,with one eye closed , Im still not done with the Eng yet, just a few more this and thats. Now this is what I have been wanting to see and do with AM from the begining, so congratulations!! on this film, yes, it can use some work, the actors are a bit stiff (who am I to talk...LOL) I hope you can find a way to show it all, I like the feel and mood of the trailer, it made me want to see what is all about.... Michael

I agree Life does "Suck" Its so shittty loosing anyone you truely care for....I even hate it that as time passes so does some of the pain (some) I feel as if I should go on feeling like crap......I lost my brother who shot himself because he could not get any real help for his mental illness....that was just over a year ago, he was at one time ,my best friend...........as you can tell, Im not the one to be uplifting......sorry !.......I do wish you a non guilty (as possiable) gradual easing of your pain.............. I do love you old man character and look forward to your animation. Michael

Cool , I mean gross in a cool sort of way, You know somethings about to happen when you see him shrink slightly (Is that called Anticipation?) before exploding (follow through?...LOL) into a bloody CG mess, I like scrubbing through the frames just to see where each blood piece goes and does. Michael

Oh ! I love the lip ring, I think you have a winner, or at least it should be... Michael
