  1. I have abandoned the old design above of LORD VERMA [above]......here are the new impressions of him.....he's alot more complex than HAVER so more details to come.... WireFrame of HAVER......
  2. Very rare do i encounter creases....my rule when modeling is "if it don't flow it has to go".... make sure ur splines flow smoothly from beginning to end....even hooks I avoid, if u must use them then be wise where they are placed... Like in "GORF's pic the red line make it flow all the way to the top...

  6. I like your new attempt......one of the things that has helped me when modeling is developing a smooth flow from the get go...this is why it's important to have reference so you get a feel for what you want before even touching the mouse.. Try an always keep ur splines flowing and connected right.... I look forward to ur progress..

  17. -agep- Thank you so much...means alot coming from you... -gschumsky- Thank you....This is all A:M...am using toonrender... Am using basic toon settings within the render panel; no changes is made in PWS with regards to toon.... SETTINGS: LIGHT: Light: 1 Z-buffer kileg softness: 50% Darkness: 80% <----- very important ajust until you get a nice shadow cast effect... Map Res: 512X512 Bias: off Penumba: off RENDER: lines only: off override Lines: on color method: Specified <------- I set mine to black thickness: 1 Toon Line Bais: 1 MATERIALS: I used 2 types of materials to add some specularity and life to the model... Toonnation : [Dusty] - for highlights and [Cellular] - for the added noise FX.... ................ I have also tested this a bit with other types of lights but I find the best results is using Z-buffer lights which I use exclusively.. Here is an update adding more details and trying to get a feel for the toon effect....
