  1. Interesting. Is she an actual character in the film or kind of a doll? She looks different to the others. I don't know the first thing about ballet, but one thing that stood out to me was the first "step off". It feels like she should put more of her upper body (even bend her head down) as steps into the next pose. Regarding the dress....If she's a real ballet dancer, I'd expect her to be wearing a pink fluffy one. But it might fit the story better like this.
  2. Nice work. You might want to render in multipass(4x4 minimum) to get better motion blur.
  3. So, you can't use the chor you have to produce a similarly realistic effect? The exact angle doesn't matter....it's more the lighting and general setup. I'm also sure there was some tweaking in PS so it's not going to exactly match. If you can't do that, well, it's unfortunate.
  4. I don't think anyone wants (or is asking for) that either way. IMO a shaded wireframe screenshot of the chor you used to make the original image with a section of it rendered looking exactly like the image would prove it beyond all reasonable doubt. I can't see why you would lie about it when you obviously have a great model on your hands that would be more than enough for a post in the showcase forum as it is. But at the same time, I don't know understand why you haven't shown the chor yet.....which you must have if the first image is rendered.
  5. I see where you're going. Strictly speaking, the ease value just defines when you start and stop along the path. But at a certain time, that could be percieved to be starting at a new point on the path. As you say though, it won't go back round to end at that point.
  6. IE the start point in the path is the first point you made in the path. I don't think you can define another point as the start.
  7. Begorragh and bejasus! Now I'm having doubts. Arragh....is it or isn't it? I forgive you if it isn't. Whatever the case, you have a fine mask model that you should be proud of.

    Delayed Walk.

Have your character stand at the start of your path and start walking after a certain amount of time (150kb) Delayed_Walk.zip

Nice rig Stian! It was fun to use.
  10. Nice!....but yeah, it kind of looks like it's floating with no definite shadows. Also the angle is abit too high to get a good side profile view. IMO.
  11. That's cool! I love the little as well as the big features.
  12. That looks like a nice way to do it. I'd just worry about getting the precision that you you can get when you manipulate only cps or use a facial rig. But I haven't used deffo boxes much so I don't know.
  13. Nice details! I think improving the lighting might add alot to the realism factor.
  14. That's a nice female walk. She looks almost like a manequin....is she one?
  15. Don't do it unless he agrees to use this footage in his avatar!
  16. Ah...thanks for the link. I think I have it now. I'm sure there must be WINK tutorials on how to use WINK somewhere.
  17. Mr 7, If you get a vote on what tutorials people would want, I'd help with making some of them. As soon as I learn how to use Wink. I seem to remember a while ago someone setting up a site to make tutorials on. He didn't seem to get many entrys. Maybe he might contribute on this.
  18. Ooooo....one of those planes is going to explode? Huh huh?

Wow. Talk about detail. I hope you're going to rig this. Is it an existing design or one you're making up?
  20. Poor guy looks French..with the Berry. He won't last long there! He looks like a fun character. Give him some pupils! Oh and a wireframe please when you're ready.
  21. LOL I was just going to ask that. It might have something to do with the magnifying effect....but that could be done in reality or 2D I guess.
  22. I agree. I can't wait for this to be finished. How long is it going to be again? The above image looks great and especially the DoF which is so underused generally. In the animation, I notice the ballerinas left elbow bends in two directions. Or that's how it looks anyway.
  23. Yes a very good likeness. Perhaps he should have smaller beadier eyes though...just to be spot on! Let's see him move now!
  24. Nice sabor effect. How was it done?
