  1. You have to double click the decal container to bring up the decal in the action, then size and position the decal. Once positioned, right click the decal and apply.
  2. No, I applied it in the action.
  3. In an action group the front half of the pants and hide the rest. Then flatten the pants (adjusts cps as needed) and apply decal. Edit the stamp and adjust the cps til the stretching is gone.
  4. Patch images are not ideal. They stretch to the size of the patch and they don't work well on 5 pt patches. You can always paint a pair of pants in a paint program, if a photo is too realistic.
  5. Steve, great models so far. If you have a digital camera, take some photos of the front and back of a pair of jeans. Here's an example.
  6. Select the body bone to use the mirrorbones plugin, on a TSM2 rigged model. It doesn't matter that the body bone doesn't and shouldn't have any cps assigned to it.
  7. Yes, but it would take some doing.
  8. Do a full edit on your first post.
  9. There is no glow to the model, just a brightness to it. The brightness is from the diffuse falloff being low and the specularity settings.
  10. Set the diffuse falloff, of the surface properties of the model, to 100% (it's set to 0% right now).
  11. The 2008 rig instructions are located in the zip folder that contains the 2008 rig installer.
  12. Here's a quick fix. elphy_rigged_fixed.zip
  13. Yes, it can be fixed.
  14. Steve, there are some installation issues. It appears that you didn't scale a few bones correctly. There are bones out of position in the legs and hands. It seems you didn't scale the bones in the XYZ axis' equally, the only exception to this is the balance install bone (which looks as though you didn't scale that correctly either).
  15. Steve, don't use the pinky finger. I find that works the best.
  16. Even though you may have used the rotate manipulator to pose the handle, you are actually translating the cps. Since the keys for the position are at 0% and 100%, A:M will will translate the cps from one position to the next. Your best bet is to create a bone for the handle (and assign the cps to it) and rotate the bone in the pose. Nancy beat me to it.
  17. ?
  18. As I said in my edit, The options menu does not appear to work when capturing the sequences, but reducing the channels fron the edit menu does, after capturing the sequence.
  19. You can set the reduction, in the options menu, before you capture the sequence. [EDIT] This does not appear to work. Though the reduce channels from the edit menu does.
  20. Don't even worry about it Rodney, this is my last post to the forum. Feel free to delete this thread.
  21. Well Rodney, the first five posts tell me how they would want me to proceed, the next three are more of what I would expect and the last three are just posts that reply to my response, just as yours is.
  22. Thanks. I thought about fire, but after the orca scene I didn't want to deal with particles again. Also, I wanted the hero to be standing tall, rather than hiding behind his shield, maybe a bit of smoke coming from the dragon's mouth, as though he's about to or already did his fire thing. It doesn't matter now anyway, I already called it done, I moved onto the next thing. Lack of interest from the forum unmotivates me.
  23. BTW Ken, how did the installation go, compared to other rigs?
  24. Thanks for the kind words Holmes, though Ken is quite talented in setting up muscle based facial poses. So, with that said, there is a dilemma. Do I integrate muscle based poses into the rig? Do I want to waste my time?
  25. Yes, it used bones, with phoneme poses already setup and A:M Track integrated, on top of a control rig. A sample model is located here.
