  1. Thanks John. Added bows.
  2. Thanks Robert. It's still missing something. I think I may add small bows to it.
  3. Looks pretty good, Robert. What's your plan for the hole in the chin, scale it smaller or close it off?
  4. Try setting the base smaller (.5-1), then go to 8 (10%-30% in the timeline) and back smaller at the tip. You can also add an image to your shaped hair, for texturing.
  5. I like the new hair. Modeled hair or hair material?
  6. Nice santa, Mark. Happy holidays. I hope things work out for you.
  7. Thanks guys. Added the real lights. Best to save to desktop and loop again. christmas_tree2.mov
  8. This is looking great, Gene. I like the hair on Aaron, well done. Aaron's has alot of hair coming out of his ears, I guess he doesn't hear to well.
  9. Thanks. Animated the lights. I'm using glow rather than real lights, but I may need to add the real lights as well. It's best to save to desktop and set it to loop. I don't have QT Pro to have it set already. christmas_tree.mov
  10. Just having some fun. Still need to make the treestand and animate the lights.
  11. Looks Great.
  12. Where the ear and cheek meet seems to stick out to the side too much.
  13. There are alot of hooks in the cheek area, but I'm not sure what the solution would be.
  14. Now I see. Looks good.
  15. Hmm, I see a few spline direction choices a bit odd, but I'll wait to see where you go with it.
  16. I'm sorry, but this is not a flaw in the interface, A:M is designed to open only the toolbars that are needed for the current window open. Here's an example, if you hide the modeling toolbar in the modeling window, it will disappear. If you close the modeling window, open a chor window and select the modeling toolbar, when you press OK it will disappear, BUT if you reopen the modeling window, the toolbar is now there. The A:M programmer is not likely to change this. Having all toolbars open in any window is not user friendly IMO and probably to most other users as well. It will just clutter up the interface and confuse the user as to what tools they need in the window they are using at the time. As you mentioned before, you can create your own toolbar, with any tools you wish, customized to your liking.
  17. Orson Welles? Played Charles Foster Kane. Joseph Cotten? He played a part in Citizen Kane and Shadow of a Doubt. Just a stab in the dark. Ok, I'll give up now.
  18. The reason they disappear is the fact that the current window you are using, you CAN NOT use those tools. NOT A BUG, PERIOD! Those toolbars were added with NO window open. Once a window is open, they disappeared because they were not needed. STILL NOT A BUG! Show me screen grabs that show the same window open, on different computers, that you can place the same toolbar on one, but not the other. I never heard of anyone ever having this problem.
  19. If you are doing this in a Model window, you need to select a bone that is associated with the CPs you want to move. Once the bone is selected, hit the Translate Mode, or Rotate Mode manipulators. Then hold down the [Ctrl] key while using the manipulator to translate or rotate the bone. As long as the [Ctrl] key is held down, the CPs will move with the bone. Holmes explains it here. Go into bones mode and select the parent bone in the arm (bicep or shoulder, not sure of your setup). Turn on the translate or rotate manipulator with the bone selected. With the "ctrl" key held down, translate or rotate the bone with the manipulator. This will move the cps with the bone. Repeat for the legs using the thigh bone. You can't move cps and have the bone move with it.
  20. It's the family guy................no wait...............Martin H.?
  21. Holmes, as soon as you open a window, they disappear. The way it should be.
