R Reynolds Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Robert, In your Christmas greeting you said you bought the tube "accidentally". I'm curious how one buys a tuba accidentally ... you bought a new spit valve and they threw the attached tuba in for free?...you didn't realize it was the gift with purchase of a bottle of the cologne "L'air de brass"? I really didn't think I was buying a tuba when i bought that. Here's the story: check out post #4 and #12 Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Hash Fellow Posted January 7, 2014 I showed this clip to my 97-year dad when i visited him over New Years. "What is that thing called?" he asked. "It's a tuba," I said. "A what?" "A TUBA... TOO-BAH!" I said louder. "A tuba? That's a crazy name. Why would they call it that?" he asked. Eventually, after some discussion, I ascertained he was really inquiring about the tablet PC I was showing the clip on. Quote
