How to freeze Sprite System?

I used Sprtite System created leaves for a tree, it's easy and look very good.

I can use this technique in still images.

But in animation it ....

How can I freeze the sprite system?

You should use Hair with an hair-image instead of Sprites.

 

Should be more or less the same, but it will be more flexible and of course: Stay where it started at.

Sprites should work too, if you set gravity 0%, initial velocity 0 and all the other stuff related to the motion to 0.

 

I like the look of it :)

Hey Bobby,

 

Did you find the solution to this problem (or manage to find a successful way to get your Sprite System to freeze)?

 

I think you could bake the sprite-system and put all the velocity, gravity, etc. things to 0 afterwards.

 

That may help, so I still say: Use Hair-system for that... it is more or less made for that.
