Heres a scene that i have been working on at work. Its a toon render, so be gentle...balconyscene.jpg

 

...and it's a 'toon' render? I rarely feel satisfied with the way toon colors come out, but this looks great. Good job.

It looks good. Maybe the shadow areas look a little "flat"?

 

I like the light casting shadows thru the leaves.

The leaves were done with hair. And due to problems with hair rendering lines around the square that the leaf image references, it was rendered in 3 layers and combined in PS CS2.

Looks great. The second one looks like something I've seen in real life recently. The only thing that really throws it off is that there isn't any detail inside the doorway. Great job.

I'm the lead animator for Kashat Productions based out of Houston TX. This id for a full length feature film we have been working on for 2 years now. Got around 2 more to go...

 

Looks great. The second one looks like something I've seen in real life recently. The only thing that really throws it off is that there isn't any detail inside the doorway. Great job.

You are right about the inside of the doorway. I'm actually still waiting on the interior designer to finalize what goes inside.
