I remember when my youngest son was deep into skateboarding, I couldn't believe how much they used to charge for these things, only later did I realize you're actually paying for the art that's on it, even the name of the artist determined the price. A couple years ago Ohlone College had an art exhibit, it was a display of nothing but skateboards with different artworks by different artists. "Sk8boarding is not a crime" - that was my son's favorite sticker. Quote
