Ok so my night did not go as planned and I'm to tired for my brain to keep going. Since the about hour of sleep I got last night my brain was still working. We not have ssl cert and the activation server is back online. Well it was never really offline just that it had to be moved back to the old host till Haven helped me work out a problem. The list is getting shorter, Get Stills back Work out the problem with A:M Films uploads work out redirects in apache 2.4(it's a big change form 2.2) get forums plug in working on wiki and stills Get IonCube working in Ubuntu 14.04 get mail set up for mailers smtp look for some skins! Well I'm off to try to fall asleep and not think for a few hours! One more thing I emailed about getting the quotes back to see what they say!

I do not know I will look in to that. So as I start more moving and updating i need to make some changes that may make me have to restart apache(the we server) so if you are going to make super long post tonight may not be the night.

One more thing I was a bit tired when I moved that data over and I forgot to remove the old Email Que(the old forums was not updating it when they were sent) so the forums sent out 95 emails before I could clear the 5k records. So if you got smapped on old topics I'm sorry.

Hello All, We are on the new server. Everyting I think is working but stills. I'm just to tired to work on that and the data is still moving so I'm not going to beable to get to that till after I sleep for a bit. And uploads other then admin will take some time too. I will reread on that on the move but I think the new forums does not use the same admin groups as before. So I think I have to reassign them.

I have done a bit of work on the 'live' cam page. We bought 3 more webcams so we will be able to have up to 4 at the show. I know it does not look like any other Hash, Inc. page but that is what I'm not good at i need to work on preview size and centering but I have a bit of work before we start the move so that will not be updated till before Comic Con The images out of webcams do not look as good as I hoped but we will have more people with cameras and we are going to make everyone there post any images they take right to facebook via email. http://www.hash.com/cam/

When we are at Comic Con 2014 I'm going to set up a webcam or maybe 2 to send images to our site. I'm hoping that we have enough bandwidth for it. The more bandwidth we have faster the refresh will be. Have a bit more work to do The page maybe as simple as a timed refresh but I'm hoping to have time to set up a 'on file touch' refresh where the page just refreshes when a new image is sent. Right now it's set up to send 1280x720 images but if we have bandwidth issues(which happen a ton at shows this big) I will try dropping the image size so you can still get images. Anyone that will be there we can not wait to see you!

This server move did not effect any of the TWO or SO data they are housed somewhere else. They are still live http://project.hash.com/movie/svn/active http://project.hash.com/movie/so/active/data the old ports work too I think 8008 and 8080. the only thing lost in that is the commit passwords It was a bad system and I'm working on a new on the use something better mysql but i have not really had the time but I need to write it for something else I'm working on so when done I will move to hash svn too. If someone needs to commit for some reason email support@hash.com and we can set that up. The post count and all that stays but if you want to start over I can set it to 0 haha.

all testing is done so I have a small break now till the move. But I hope to get the voting up Monday the 7th early and let voting run 2 weeks

Ok starting Monday June 30th 2014 12:01am Hash servers will be coming down for a planned outage of about 12-18 hours something will stay down longer. Like stills(it's going to take a bit longer then thought to get 100% working but only groups are broke now) The return order is Activation > Store > Forums(because it's a lot of work) stills then i go to sleep.

The drive letter should not matter with the CD but the system we used for disks back in v15.0 is not always stable in systems today as it looks for many things like imaging software and virtual drives. What keep new versions form running on your machines? what error do you get?

Hello, we are still on the old server. It's slow because it's old and full. The load of getting the 'snapshot' off the server is really putting a load on the slow hard drives and system ram is almost full most of the time. When we move to the new server it will be way way faster. Like going form a Geo Metro to a Porsche. amfilms.hash.com is in the new home I have not been able to test uploading do to some syntax changes in Apache2.4 but I will be testing that later today. We are almost done with all the testing when we move the down time will be about 12 hours and things will come back one by one. In this order Activation > Forums > Mail > Store > Reports > user hosted data things that use another sub domain like amfilms and wiki can move before then but anything that uses www.hash.com or hash.com has to move in the take down

The new forms is back up, replication is running and the new store is running http://optimus.hash.com/store/ It's late and i need to rest a bit the move over of the store test will be my goal tomorrow.

The new forums is down because of problem with the replication server since that is the server I'm also snapshot'n too. I can not restart the server until the snapshot is done(not sure when the will be haha)

Small update, some pages may load slower(I know they have already been slow) because of the hard drive load of the move to the new home and the back up machine.

Sorry for the restart with out notice. But it came down to one of two options. Restart the machine or punch my screen and well I really like my monitor so..

The users that have images have now been fixed too.

We are moving to a new server and updating all software. The new forums is up now if you want to mess around with it. http://optimus.hash.com/forums/ The posts will be removed and right now we are working on a bug with user avatars if you find anything else please post here. we will also be looking for new skins and other things before we move over. Any Posts made there will be removed on the move! but feel free to try it out. I will also make a post there for bugs and things you want to see. but I have to run right now.
