  1. recreated my logo on my site http://www.wolfworks.co.nr
  2. here are the same plinks i give anyone that asks, some are more complicated than other scan them and see which gives you hat you want, start with 3 point lighting... http://www.ypoart.com/tutorials/skylights-intro.htm http://newtek.com/products/lightwave/tutor...-002/index.html http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10132 http://www.andrew-whitehurst.net/3point.html http://www.ypoart.com/tutorials/Photon-Mapping.htm these should help, note that two of these are not directed to animation master be could be useful anyway... realistic lighting can be achieved with simple lighting, but yes it is also bases on material settings and textures...
  3. well that way i can know what i want straight out with out the complications of a angled rotoscope....side,top, (maybe)front view...
  4. When you apply a texture to a sphere set the 'application method' to spherical, if you use a cylinder set it to cylindrical. This option is only visible when you have started to position your decal. When you need to do the render in high resolution make sure you sky is high res too, infinite resizing won't make it look better. I never light my skies. I make the sphere that large that it isn't affected by any lights. Use the 'ambient' setting of the sphere's surface to set the brightness. This way the sky will look the same as the picture in every direction. or you could just do flat shaded.....
  5. well i made it so that people could have objects past the clouds, you know like planes, a sun, a meteor, etc.
  6. btw what i meant by starting on Yoshi was not modeling him, I'm drawing out my own rotoscopes so it can turn out right...
  7. theres no such thing as "above your ability" it might take some time but at the moment he's all you got, be patient.... also i'm starting on Yoshi today...
  8. oops Caroline already linked it lol...

  22. goombas don't take don't they just make sounds? try the squash that would be cool.
  23. good job sofar, its looking better, try moving a few splines back to get rid of some of those verticle curves. goto the left veiw and move them left, then the front veiw to make shure the face shape didn't change to much. if it try and fix it up.
