  1. Kow is soooo cute with fur. Did u use the "fur" material or a hair emitter? I found "fur" material renders rather quickly, but lose other tweaks that you get with the extremely SLOW rendering hair emitter.
  2. Great beginning Tacku and welcome to A:M. As Eric said, please post a wireframe.
  3. I've been working hard gathering sound clips, lip-syncing and such, so I haven't really had much to post for my movie. I rendered out a sneak-peek screenshot (below) and composed my version of the scene-opener music you should all recognize. As for what actually happens, I guess you'll still have to wait to see the finished animation. Scene opening score
  4. SoftImage only has hair available if you pay the just under $7, 000 price for the advanced version of the software. Great price for super-huge hollywood companies, I guess
  5. very nice and authenic looking (like I would know, lol). Can't wait to see the whole temple
  6. It's lookin' pretty bad-ass eric. Awesome car, dude.
  7. A true masterpiece. The detail and quality of modelling and decaling are exquisite and professional grade. I don't blame you for choosing to sell it. Your time and energy should be worth a little kickback. We all gotta eat and buy clothing. Great job and good luck.
  8. WHOA! Happy New Year to you too! That chair incident made me JUMP! Spectacular work, SoulCage!
  9. Nice render! Seems like the flames should fill up the entire cone, but it looks really good. Can't wait to see an animation and the thing it will get attached to. Great work.
  10. Very cool effect. which turbulence did u end up using?
  11. That's a nice shot. I liked how you can see him and the bubbles under the water surface. Maybe add a bit of refraction, but the lighting is nice.
  12. Thanx Phnx. Thanks Dan. Actually, yes he did have some lights right at his feet pointing up at him. Thought I'd give it a try. Not the best, but it wasn't awful either. Good advice on the camera movement too...thanks for the input
  13. DUDE! THAT was TOTALLY HIGH! I LOVED IT! Great vocals too!
  14. I am putting out a casting call for animators to create a monologue using your characters and any audio piece whatsoever. This is just for fun. I thought it would be interesting to see what people come up with. Here is mine: Chameleoid's Audition
  15. I was originally going to use my alien (unofficially named 'Chameleoid') in my intro movie, when I realized I hadn't really done any official casting auditions. In order to comply with the requirements of the Screen Actors Guild, I am now requiring a monologue from each prospective actor as on official audition piece. Chameleoid chose a reading from the character "Professor Pacoli" from the movie "Fifth Element" to showcase his acting prowess. Chameleoids Audition
  16. Thanks for the tut, Michael. That's gonna save me some big-time headaches. Can't wait to see your finished product!
  17. Cooool. Your Santa looks a lot like the one in the stop-motion animated classic "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" show. Lovely scene, Kevin
  18. Wow, great bubbles. Sprite emitter? I have been having problems with my sprites. Turning them on and off when I need to. How do you do it? Awesome animation thus far.
  19. Wow! Nice job. It's truly Hollywood movie quality.
  20. I actually use that to represent the jets for my space hot-rod. My animation
  21. A quick prelim of my Alien Dude. The last character I need before I can start the actual Intro Movie animation project.
  22. Here is the Finalized test flight of the space hot rod! I added terrain and effects. Test Flight
  23. I am using volumetrics in my chor (dust, mist, steam) in A:M 12.0n. My dust volumetric is too small and no matter how I try to make it bigger to fit the scene....nada! Stays small. I tried to make my dust volumetric larger by scaling it and by fiddling with the falloff and width softness and more. My dust just wouldn't render any larger. I'm kinda stuck, so help would be GREATLY appreciated. Pleeeeeze.
