  1. That would be awesome. Something for my Crow model to play!
  2. Awesome model! Just a few nit-picky observations: * There are 3 pickups but no pickup selector switch! * The strings just disappear at the tuning pegs. There's usually some left over, sticking out. * The pick guard on the shorter "horn" (on the body) should be a little sharper and closer to the actual body shape * In fact, both "horns" should be a little pointier, I think. * I can't see in the animation if the body has that slope by where the (right-handed player's) right elbow would be. * It's very clean! I like my guit-fiddles to be road-worn. Great job!
  3. I really love this project. Just beautiful.
  4. Looks like you're well on your way to another really nice piece!
  5. Accidentally watch it? I think a warning and a link would be perfectly acceptable. Can't wait to see it!
  6. Amazing strides since your first post of the bottle! My only issues are with the clenliness of the poster that some people already pointed out and the composition. It looks like everything was carefully placed in such a way as to look random -- kind of like a faked crime scene. The historical accuracy seems okay to my untrained eye although I'm not sure if that was a period typeface. Regardless, type was set by hand back then so there should be imperfections in the placement of the letters as well as ink anomolies. But again, amazing improvement.
  7. Hey Marcel - I noticed you haven't added TreeZ to your website. Do you plan on adding that along with your usual in-depth documentation?
  8. But that certainly doesn't hurt! 10.5 and 11 are really worlds above v9.x. Until 10.5 came out, I was still using 8.5 because of v9's instability and missing functions. You won't regret upgrading. And anyone who hasn't made the leap past 8.5 because of the interface changes, just do it. I was hesitant at first but now I zip around in there quicker than I did in 8.5.
  9. The second one. It's "Media Ho" as in "Attention Ho" or "Paris Hilton."
  10. Not happy with the banding in the volumetric light.
  11. Looking good so far, Vern. Can't wait to see more. I agree there are a couple moments when the pacing could be a little snappier, but I'm sure you'll work that out. I first read the title as The Incontinent Secret Agent. I'm glad I read it wrong.
  12. Two contraints: "Translate to" and "Orient Like" Use compensate mode if you position it before constraining it.
  13. I just sized the bitmaps down and changed them to jpgs so they weren't too much to download. Here's an earlier version of the project before applying the TreeZ Wizard.
  14. Made the leaves with a hair system. Added the bark using patch images. Unfortunately, they didn't all line up properly. Feature request! Marcel, any way to make that happen? That would make texturing super easy. The leaves are all a single hair system. Amazing how powerful and customizable this thing is. If anyone wants to play with the project, it's available here. It was made in beta 3. C'mon beta 4! Papa needs some shadows.
  15. That's purty! Nice image. What's it for?
  16. Finally had a chance to play with TreeZ. Nice job, Marcel! I'm looking forward to your update. Back to playing!!
  17. It's been said before and I'll say it again. Marcel rules.
  18. Awesome performance, Justin! My favorite part is the little subtle smile he gets (right after the word "but") when he thinks of how he's going to phrase the rest. Great stuff.
  19. Wow. That's really nice. And what a cool car! I want one!
  20. Go here - http://www.colins-loft.net/tutorials.html
  21. Very nice! I like seeing the progress. Thanks for sharing. Is hair collision detection implemented yet in beta 1? If not, any idea when we can expect it, Randy?
