  1. 1 hour isnt a lot of time, your animation is pretty complicated so you did pretty good. quick animation 1 hour sprints might be something to try.
  2. Ah , that brings back memories! now I will have to watch the DVD again. We were just talking to 2d artist that were talking about the show. Are you going to give him the same type of shader?
  3. Ah, its a Euisung's model. I found out where I downloaded it from. Its in the free models section of the Hash site. Thanks Euisung! It looks like you did a nice job on you model to Dinocarl. I loved the dinos since I was kid. Maybe we will have to do a short animation with some characters. I was digging through my files and found a funny character we had drawn up a few years ago for a business and it was never used. It would fit into the theme so we are putting together a little story board. I think it would be halarious. Now I will try to finish up the trex and start building the character. Euisung's model was in the free section, can I use it for actual demonstrations? Does anyone know?
  4. Thanks guys so far, I will try to fix him up as much as I can when i get a chance. I was thinking about the lighting and thought i would put a grid under him and stick the texture of the ground on it so i could give him a shadow and do some lighting and maybe somekind of gel light of leaves moving to, if you can do that.. Any critiques are welcome. I love hearing them, it just makes you better. I don't have anybody around here to give me a hard time except my wife, LOL! I changed the webpage so that you can download the file if you had any trouble viewing it. the host is kind of flacky sometimes. http://www.members.shaw.ca/johnkuepper/index_001.htm
  5. Hi everyone. I saw the running trex animation. very cool. I was fooling around with this trex model i had downloaded awhile back. I took the original rig out and put in the tsm2 rig. I used the weightmover on the neck to the tail and put in the cog system on the thighs. I only got to put in about 5 hours on the animation but the tsm2 rig works awesome. the animation is still very rough and has no secondary action yet, but it has some potential. this is my first animation that I have posted on the forum. This file is divx and may not work with all browsers. let me know if there is problems. this was 10 seconds and I only have 10 meg availible on my personal site so this was the best compression i could do. If there is problems maybe i can make it downloadable! I will try to finish it up so any input is welcome. http://www.members.shaw.ca/johnkuepper/index_001.htm that is all!
  6. Yes, it looks very cool. I was working on trex myself for a demo, im going to post and see what you think. later
  7. All the clips are great. I really like the look of the birds family. Very cell like. Is there a tutorial for setting up characters and materials to achieve that type of style???? Or can someone give me some pointers??? tx
  8. Cool, looks like one of my old bosses except in a guy form. LOL
  9. Wow! you guys rock. I wish i could work at place like yours. looks like a blast. Keep up the awesome work!!!!!!!!!
  10. I would suggest that you start over. Keep it simple and bring in a head that has been done and have it beside your work to have as a reference. Of course rotoscopes work to but this may help you with the splinage and prespective and then you can go from rotos later. hope this helps
  11. luv it! Getting paid to play is a bonus!!
  12. Thats cool stuff Matt! So your waiting for the Copy Cops to come get you, are ya? Its looking real good, some work to be done but getting there. Im waiting for more!

    Photon Room

nice work dude! I did a realistic classroom before (not in AM but I know what AM is capable of) that ended up getting the comment "So what!" but its 3d i laughed loudly! "It is?" Realisitic has the big price, endless lighting, tweaking, frustration, sometimes almost divorce and finally rendering forever and thats one frame, then you have to make it move. Ouch! You have walk in the shoe to understand! Keep up the great work, can't wait for the final work. I luv this business!
  18. ? I have to say ouch! simple but to simple. If you starting out and this is your first animation on you home pc, then its alright. thats my opinion!!
