  1. I love it. It really has a Christmasy feel to it. Great mouse and great hair....and those eyes! So blue and cute. One thing I noticed was the lip sync toward the end didn't seem right. Or maybe it's the versatility of his mouth. Something about it. Edit: It's probably his big bucked teeth getting in the way.
  2. When you make a group, you only need to select the group name to select the cps again.
  3. Welcome to AM. Cloth is tricky even for the most hardened AM user. I would suggest learning how AM handles splines before diving headlong into it. But if you want to....you have to define a cloth material and a deflector material. The cloth goes on the patches you want to behave like cloth and the deflector goes onto the patches that you want the cloth to collide with.
  4. Excellent. I love the splashes of the rocks too. It seems like you could speed the animation up and it would look more correct.
  5. It depends on your number of posts. When you reach 200, you'll become a master(?).
  6. AM has an obj plugin. Find it here (obj.hxt) and put it into your hxt folder. ftp://ftp.hash.com/pub/plugins/ImportExport/Windows/ You'll have to right click on the model and go down to plugin>export.
  7. That's an elaborate move! It's hard to tell if it's right or not. Looks good though.
  8. Pretty darn good. Looks just like the dvd one. One crit would be the feet should be pointing down as he's falling.
  9. You might want to email Hash directly...
  10. Excellent model. I could see that being used in some video footage very nicely. Did you make it for any reason in particular?
  11. Ooo....lovely vegetables! Almost TWO material..hint hint.
  12. This could be the difinitive earth model on an extra cd. Good work.
  13. What do you mean by "and I do"? If you drag an image onto the model window, it will prompt you to do that yes. So, I assume you either want to make a decal or a rotoscope....right? Pick which one and click OK. Images are never embedded. Ever. The project file would increase hugely. Models can be embedded and are when you chose "Embed ALL" or individually in the file properties. In your middle image, you know what file isn't embedded because it has a floppy disk in the icon in the PWS. As for the white lines....your main body is duplicated...To fix it, select a point on the body. Press the / key. Now move the duplicate out. There's also some patches that need to be flipped on it.
  14. Nancy is correct. You can't embed images into a project....they can be just too large. So, the project references them in another location. You hadn't included any images in your upload so as Nancy says, they're still in the same location on your hard drive as they always were.
  15. Wow. If you could make that footprint plugin available for TWO it would be cool!
  16. I like contrast, so it's the second for me. Is that haze I see above the far side of the model?
  17. You could do it the easy way with an alpha dirt image. Just rotate round the model and where you want it to be dirty, apply the image. You can do multiple stamps and vary the shape/size of the image.
  18. I'm also confused as heck. The only other thing I can think of is the central circle of cps in the wheels are too close together....thus creating corrupted patches.
  19. That's ace! I'd love to see it dirtied up abit to make it look more real. PS Also, maybe the sides of the tyres could use a displacement mapped logo/name.
  20. You know, if we can't use this map, we could use something similar to make the distant mountains....maybe make them into an image and put them into backgrounds of sets.
  21. Man, if you could put some snow on some of those peaks, that'd be the icing on the cake!
  22. How do they render? It might be that the realtime display is low. Try pressing Pageup. I'm finding it hard to see which lines you don't want. It looks like you have a decal too so maybe the patches are flipped the wrong way. Select the patch and press the F key.
  23. I think that's a general render issue rather than to do with displacements. I'm noticing it with regular models that are "low res" rendering when far away, yet if you zoom in they render fine.
  24. Check in the properties of the wheels. Maybe render as lines is set to ON.
