  1. It's virtually the same code. If you have the yeti cd, you might move on to v13 which is now official.
  2. Are you using v13? I think I'm getting the same problem with hip nulls in the squetch rig. I reported it....maybe you could do the same.
  3. Does paste work? Possibly your mid line bones aren't exactly on the midline. Or your bones aren't exactly mirrored.
  4. Perhaps it's just in a different model window? When you open a new model, it open into it's own model window. Go into workbook mode to see the other windows easily.
  5. Nice work. As for the crease....did you adjust any bias handles in that area. I see you have two splines hooked onto the same spline. Maybe carry one through to the next spline. That might fix it....though there's no crease on the other side.
  6. Perhaps the problem with the eye target direction is that it's very low. I think people are expecting to see his eyes point head high at another person. It's hard when you don't have a run in shot to set up things.....that's the challenge of the contest I guess. But by no means should it require you to reduce the head movement. I'd alter the eyes before that. The second clip is very nice. I hope you consider doing some TWO animation for your reel.
  7. Excellent. Great model too. From the dialogue, it makes it seem like he's talking at someone.....but your character is looking in several places. PS Nat, the TWO animation is up in the air abit at the moment. I'm also waiting to be assigned to a scene.
  8. In v13, 100% gives me a patch with a hole in it. 0% makes everything transparent. I think it's an all or nothing thing. Here's an animation going from 100% to 0%. I would have expected that just the black would become opaque at 0%. Maybe I'm wrong. Time to consult Dave Rodgers book. trans.mov
  9. If any part of the patch that the decal is on isn't covered by the decal, then AM renders it as transparent. You don't even need an alpha....just black for transparent and white for opaque. What you need to do is: Identify the patches you want to decal and hide the rest of the model. Then decal your transparency map onto those patches, making sure the white of the map covers all of the patches.
  10. Yeah, that's the right property to change. I just tried it in v13.
  11. I don't know if you can rely on the real time for this. Try rendering to see the result.
  12. Oh right. I guess they should look similar to the older episodes. I found this site if you need any references.. http://web.ukonline.co.uk/bingo275/rela_cloneprops.htm
  13. Nice work. It'd be nice to see a pic of your dad to compare it with!
  14. Wireframes come at the end as before. I'm a bit confused though...this is the episode 3-6 clone trooper right? You've just modeled the episode 1 robot. Is this fan movie going to span all those episodes?
  15. If you're going for south park.....all you need is an elipse for his head.
  16. And don't forget if you use the Copy Flip Attache tool, you only have to model half of the character!
  17. Excellent first attempt. Let us see the splines for further analysis.
  18. Ah yes. Some of the (inferior?) model images on the net I was looking at didn't have those. But I'd say the real thing did. Though I'm finding it hard to find clear images of the actual ship.
  19. With all those guns, I wouldn't quite call her beautiful....perhaps awesome. But your modeling sure is. It looks great so far. One pont....these guns: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?act=A...e=post&id=17562 They seem enclosed where they join the turrets. Should they not extend inside?
  20. There's a few rough areas round the ears and neck. But you don't have time to fix them! I assume he needs arms to play conga drums!
  21. Yeah, the one we're using on TWO and is going to be the next standard AM rig. It's somewhere on the forum. Not sure where.
  22. Very nice. On first impression it seems too narrow. Not sure if that impression is right though. Are you installing the squetch rig in your characters?
  23. It's a video card problem. Try updating the drivers for your card. And maybe try changing between Opengl and Direct3D in AM.
  24. I don't think there's any copy protection, so you can just drag them onto your hard drive. Make sure the library is pointing to the path to them though.
  25. Thanks Charlie. They asked right here on the forum. I believe others got some work too.
