  1. Oh well, Flemm's learning his first lesson in bartering
  2. Good job, Mark! The comics look appealing. The night scenes looked a tad too dark for me. I'm wondering why didn't you use a different color fill light?
  3. Well, Greyhawk & Co are going to appear in future Wannabe. So maybe that person will have a different opinion then.
  4. Ooh, that looks good. I like the color scheme.
  5. Oh yeah. Your stuffs just look good. You must have understanding of design, colors and the likes.
  6. Oh yeah, that's true. Simple and still able to communicate well. Liked the spaceship! Are you a designer, Mark? I like the design.
  7. It looks good! Like the lighting. 4 hours is good, Mark. Looking forward to see more what you have in store!
  8. Looks good, Mark! He's got really long arms.
  9. I really liked it. The lighting looks good. The composition helped a great deal too. I think Dreamland Chronicles looks kind of jarring (I think it's the composition.) I like yours better, Mark!
  10. My 3D versions still got a long way to go right now, Mark. I'll let you know if I have something. Hm, I don't know exactly how W&F can appear in Wannabe but it'll be fun to figure it out lol
  11. Hey, congrats on the new direction, Mark! It would be so cool to have a famous 3D webcomic made with AM. I really liked the second page of Greyhawk. The establishing panel, the silhouettes reminded me the "storytelling spirit" of comics. Sometimes, when I fuss too much with the technical sides I forget that. Sure, let's do that sometimes
  12. That's a good work, Mark. I thought you guys changed the style on purpose but it's just they way you draw. It looked more cartoony, I liked it. The thick and stylized outlines reminded me of the modern toon style on tv (I don't know what's the name for that.) Hey, it's cool that you used AM too for the comics. It looked like you're using the models for drawing references instead of toon rendering it. I'm gonna try exporting my mdl to Manga Studio and let it do the 2D conversion. I hope it'll look good. Good luck with the 15 pages!
  13. Hehe that's a funny cover
  14. Good luck, Mark! That means we're gonna see alot more pirates Good luck with your freelance also.
  15. Yikes, he's creepy. Job well done cronos!
  16. I think the camera cuts and storyboard are really good. Thanks for sharing, Gerry
  17. It looks good!
  18. Oh fantastic! Thank you much!
  19. http://www.hash.com/products/am.asp I don't think it's updated to the recent version. I think AM is the most robust software for $299.
  20. I think this is an important topic Rodney. I found that sometines I got occupied too much in trying to learn "all" of the possible features that I forgot the goals. I once made elaborate storyboards with shadings and stuffs and lost my energy to ever finish the animation. What was I thinking?!
  21. I think the Cook Torrence shader would be good for this.
  22. This is 2007, so we should get 2007 disc for updates. Though as of 13q they still released the update for both 2006 and 2007. I don't know for sure when they're going to stop releasing updates for 2006 disc. I think they'd probably stop when version 14 is released. Oh, forgot to add that AM's upgrades are not version based but yearly/time based. Your upgrade is good for all release during the year.
  23. That happens in my 10.5. If I have 2 modeling windows open, one of them will act like that sometimes, the other one will stay ok. Suggestion: Close that window and open a new one.
  24. Your prj doesn't come with the image file so I used a different image for your decal/stamp. When I did "recall view/position" it showed that your decal was not applied on the model but off outside the model. To apply a decal you must position and move the decal physically onto your model surface on the screen (like applying a sticker). Decals worked fine in my action window too (AM 10.5).
  25. I'm using 10.5, it's "right click" the stamp under decal and choose "edit". Maybe it's still the same in your version
