  1. Good point. I was thinking about that as it was rendering so I think I will just have him laying on top of the sheet like he fell asleep on the job. Thanks for pointing that out.

  4. Looks really good. The only thing I would do is color the face a little differently because it is hard to differentiate between it and the rest of the body. Or maybe it doesn't have a face.

  6. I think your talking about 'Flip for Mac.' It is very usefull for viewing .wmv files. Just search for that and it should work.

  9. Very mysterious. If you "translate to" constrain that object to the character (to his hips, probably) it will follow him a bit better. I used IK arms setup and constrained the arms to the dummy. Then I animated the dummy to follow the body.

  11. Cleaned up my hard-drive and restarted my computer and now it is fine again. That was weird.
  12. looks good! Make sure to measure it so the character can fit in it.
  13. radiosity isn't on. The wall is just roughness. there are no particles. I am re rendering it without roughness and it is 10% at half an hour so far. My computer is really new. Only like a year old.
  14. I rendered out a still JPEG of one frame of animation. This took 3:36:30 (hours, minutes, seconds). Why did it take so long to render only one frame? here are the settings, no advanced, just regular final.
  15. I would make it a little lighter with a tint of orange. With lens flare it should look fine either way.
  16. Thanks for all the responses. So basically normal maps have more accurate lighting. Neither change the actual mesh. Is that right?
  17. I just learned how to make Normal maps in another post. Now that I know how to do it I am perplexed as to what the difference is. What is the difference?
